TORAH

Just like what we saw last week, there is difference between the process of the clean and unclean section and the process of becoming cleansed. This is the same with someone that was just healed from leprosy. There is a difference with healing and cleansing laws. In this parsha we will focus of the laws of the days of the cleansing period. This is the same with forgiveness and restoration. They are two very different things.

This week will deal with physical and bodily uncleanness that will happen to us at some point.

  • Conception of a child and sex
  • Menstrual flow
  • Seminal discharge or masturbation
  • Giving birth
  • Discharge from the body (sweat, vomit, poo.)
  • Touching a dead unclean animal
  • Entering into a house that has tza'arat
  • Coming into contact with graves, corpses and bones
  • Burning a red heifer sacrifice
  • Eating unclean food
The washing of the physical from uncleanness teaches us about washing ourselves from spiritual uncleanness. Just as in the physical world, we need to clean our conscience from death too.

The process of healing begins when a leper proclaims the truth that he is unclean. If the one suffering from tzara'at has apparently been healed, he first calls for the priest to be re-examined. If the priests sees no sign of uncleanness, a second examination is scheduled seven days later, and if the metzora is free from the person, the processes of purification begins. This second examination pictures Yeshua coming back on the seventh day as our high priest. After the second examination, the priest requires that the metzora brings in the following:

  • An earthenware bowl filled with living water (the Holy Spirit).
  • Two birds of the same type that are clean.
  • A stick of cedar wood.
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:
And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;
Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:
As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:
And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.
How interesting! Perhaps the device used to accomplish this task looked something like this?

Also notice in verse 6 the reference to dipping the bird in blood and water. We are saved by Yeshua's blood and He is also the living waters. The waters are running like a mikvah or a baptism. The scarlet thread the the bird is wrapped around is the bloody form of Jesus when He was hanged on a tree.

This also connects to when in the Exodus when the Israelites put blood on the doorposts. See the Bo Torah Portion for more info.

The priest would slaughter one of the birds and their blood will mix with the water. We are purified in the conscience and the spirit by these two things.

The only thing that can free the second bird are the items that are prophetically found here:
  • Blood
  • Water
  • Hyssop
  • Crimson wool
  • Cedar wood
"Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow." Psalm 51:7

Yeshua is wearing a crimson woollen robe (from a lamb), nailed to a cedar cross, pierced and water and blood come out of Him. Yeshua is the bird in Leviticus 14! The word says that no man lives, unless he is crucified with Christ.

The other bird that is killed is Yeshua, and the bird that is wrapped up on the cedar wood is us! We must be crucified in Christ and live, as the second bird is dipped in the blood of the other bird, and is free! The first bid is crucified instead of the instead, even though the second looks like it will be put to death.

What is the significance of crimson wool you may ask? Here is a great video explaining that.

This is prophetically how a leper is cleansed. What God is saying here is that we are all lepers. Why lepers? It makes more sense bionically if we were adulterers. No, lepers is the worst sin in the Bible. Leprosy makes up all of the 7 deadly sins from Proverbs 6: 16-19 in one or the other:
  • Pride
  • Lying
  • Killing the innocence
  • A wicked schemer
  • Someone that loves evil ways and ideas
  • Gossip
  • Slander
See last week's Torah Portion on how leprosy is connected to evil speech - Lashon Hara.

When you have a tongue of slander you are destroying the face of God on the earth. We are all lepers so prophetically we are expelled from the camp (the Garden of Eden). How do we get back to Eden? We need someone that is going to heal us and then cleanse us (Torah and salvation). The salvation given is to make sure we can be purified. He did not come to heal us, because we can already be healed by His word.
"And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean." Mark 1:40
Notice how he says "clean" and not "healed". He literately recognising Yeshua as a priest. But Yeshua touches the leper! You cannot do that! Unless you are taking on the afflictions and the sins of this world, you can.
"Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:4-5
What this did to Yeshua explains why He keeps on leaving cities and trying to isolate Himself in the wilderness and retreat. It is because He has healed lepers and taken on their sins! He will be breaking the commandments if He did not do this. He must go out of the camp! Yeshua is literally playing the place of the leper as the leper plays the place of Yeshua by proclaiming the good news of his healing. This is the importance of controlling our tongues. Yeshua was constrained, not by His tongue, but by someone else.
"But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter. Mark 1:45

Yeshua is the leper scholar according to the Babylonian Talmud. Even the Jews that do not believe say Yeshua was a leper scholar.

The main theme of this Torah Portion is that If we could all see the reward that awaits us for restraining from Lashon Hora, our ability to restrain would be instant.

When we are unclean in the physical, we are to wash ourselves with water. Some have made the argument that taking a shower is a baptism and there is no need to do a formal one with someone to baptise you. It is a conscience baptism.

The cleansing of the spirit is when He gives us His spirit. This is cleansed by temptations and trails coming our way. The fire and the Holy Spirit do this.

Our actions by following Him cleanses our hearts.

The leper is then to shave his head and wash his clothes as he is immersed in a mikeh. This is the symbology of dying to self and raising into the newness of life. After that, he may return into the camp, but he may not return into his home for another seven days. On the eighth day he bathes again and offers several offerings - the sin, guilt   . The 7th day is the millennial reign and we are not to go their yet. We are not at home when we live on this earth.

The blood on the right ear lobe, right thumb and right big toe points to Yeshua. Ear is the crown of thorns, the right hand and foot is where He was nailed to the cross.

After all of this, he was pronounced clean by the priest. Hi head is anointed with oil and his life of uncleanness is over, and he is like a soul brought back from the death to the newness of life. He is a new creation.

If you cleanse the inside first, if you cleanse the heart, the outside will naturally reflect that. It is like getting circumcised on the flesh instead of the inside. You are just cleaning the outside of the cup and not the inside. Naturally, when we circumcised our heart and clean the inside, then naturally we would want to get physically circumcised.

In Leviticus 15 there is chiastic structure.

  • Bodily discharge is unclean (Verse 1-2)
  • Abnormal male discharge (Verse 3-15)
  • Ejaculation (Verse 16-17)
  • Sex inside marriage (Verse 18)
  • Menstruation (Verse 19-24)
  • Abnormal female discharge (Verse 25-30)
  • Uncleanness leads to being discharged from the community (verse 31)
This Torah Portion explains that the house itself can have tza'arat. If there is mold identified in a house , the whole house is unclean and everything gets washed and cleaned and 7 days later (when the high priest Yeshua returns) if there is still mold, they wash again and again if it is still there after two times, the building is condemned and is demolished. They can also replace the unclean stones with clean stones too. The ruins must be taken outside of the city (New Jerusalem.) This place is called Hell. However, we are lively stones that make up God's spiritual house, so that means someone that has tza'arat (slander,
hatred and a lying tongue that exposes others) will make the whole body of Christ get destroyed because of this one mold that spreads like wild fire and is unstoppable. If we are divided, we cannot stand. The unclean parts will be taken to Hell or outside of the camp. All of this connects to what we saw in the Va'Yetze Torah Portion where Jacob;s ladder is described to be inspected by angels and if there were any faults, they whole be removed and replaced.

The items used in the cleansing of the house is the same when the leper is being cleansed.

The prefect way to get the house ready for Yeshua:
" And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and came, according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the Lord, to cleanse the house of the Lord." 2 Chronicles 29:15
"Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit." Ephesians 2:19-22

The clean cannot mix with the unclean. As we saw with Nadab and Abihu, in Gods presence all uncleanness is destroyed.

Hebrews 10:21-29 tells us what happens when we are clean and do not defy ourselves but walk in His ways.
" and having a great priest over God’s house, let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water, let us hold fast the confession of our faith without wavering; for he who promised is faithful. Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries. A man who disregards Moses’ law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment do you think he will be judged worthy of who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?"

PROPHETS AND NEW TESTAMENT

4 the lepers are extremely humbled. They know if they go into the city they will kill all the people but if they stay outside, the Syrians will possibly trampled them to death. They recognise their sins and wrongdoings and their dire consequences.

The 10 lepers represent the 10 lost tribes of Israel.
"But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 15:24

Yeshua heals 10 lepers. Only one gave thanks to YHWH and praised Yeshua at His feet. The lack of thanks and pride go hand in hand. The fact this person is not an Israelite means that any Gentile can be grafted into Israel.
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." 1 Thessalonians 5:18

When Yeshua healed those that are with leprosy, He told them to go to the priest to make sure they are inspected according to the Torah so it may be a testimony of the works of YHWH.

Yeshua has given us the power to not just able to cleanse other of leprosy and illness, but to take care of unclean spirits which are demons.

Yeshua says that there is no need to slander others found in sin, we must rebuke then and correct them and when they repent, we should be rejoicing and forgiving.

You wonder why the most demonic place on earth: Babylon, was called Babel. It is because "Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler (Baal Lashon) is no better." Ecclesiastes 10:11

The Torah alone will brings us to death, but with grace, we now can do His Torah without the cruse of breaking the law (this is sin.)

The purification of the heart makes us obedient. If you obey Torah it results in righteousness and if you obey sin, it results in death.

Shalom

TORAH

"Leviticus is not therefore a list of laws. It is the genetic blueprint of new creations of God." William Bullock Snr.

Profane - chol
The realm of the chol consists of things which are at essence man-conceived, man generated,man-focused, and man-pleasing. Associated with that which brings fragmentation and exudes death.
Holy - k'desh
The offsetting realm is the realm of the k'desh, consisting of things conceived and generated by YHWH, set apart. Associated with that it brings healing, restoration and wholeness, and exude life.

This week and next week we will deal with physical and bodily uncleanness that will happen to us at some point.
  • Conception of a child.
  • Menstrual flow.
  • Seminal discharge.
  • Giving birth
  • Unusual discharge from the body.
We are learning about the purifying of the flesh/body - which was particularly important to those in the wilderness, who lived with the physical manifest presence of YHWH in their midst.

Leviticus in one verse:
"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water." Hebrews 10:22

Bodily uncleanness is not a sin.

If you read last week's Torah Portion, the number eight was very significant. Last week we saw how a priest becomes a priest on the 8th day. 8 is also a number of new beginnings. In this week's portion, it explains how when a make child is born, they must be circumcised on the eighth day. This is because the blood of the baby coagulates on the eighth day. It is when Vitamin K and Prothrobin are at there all time highest level on the 8th day after birth in the boy's life. This makes it the very best time to promote healing. Circumcision is related to living in the realm of wholeness. Wholeness is related to the bride which requires total submission to the Will and the Ways of YHWH. Circumcision is natural consequence to that shalom.

The Hebrew for foreskin is orla. This usually refers to a restriction or blockage which prevents a person from using an object for the purpose it was created for. It is connected to the fruit tree in which we are restricted from eating (the Tree of Life.)

The first mention of seed in the Bible is the prophecy of the seed war between God's people (Yeshua) and Satan's Nephilim (Antichrist Apollo).

"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." Genesis 3:15-16
Because of sin, childbirth has become a painful process. YHWH did not originally intend for this to happen because childbirth needs to be a joyful experience. The promise seed of the woman was ultimately Yeshua that brought life and defeated death.
"For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive." 1 Corinthians 15:22

A woman is unclean for seven days after giving birth, everything she touches. So the child will be unclean for seven days as well. Her laws of purity and cleanliness goes for eat days and regardless of her situation she must circumcise the baby on the eighth day.'

Verse 5 is not speaking about the blood of her impurity or her uncleanliness. There is a difference between unclean and purification from that. This is where there is a lot of misunderstanding in the Messianic community. The unclean progress is like the emergency when you go to the hospital and the purification is the medication to recover. You are not unclean when you are in a purification progress. It has nothing to do with intimacy.

Our feminist society absolutely hates the idea such as the separation woman which has giving birth from communal interaction for 40 or 80 days. It tells us that such separation is supposedly discrimination against woman. Or it is possible that instead of a Godless and insanely jealousy, selfish sooty who seeks to punish the woman - to force her to return to "ordinary' life before her purification. Some woman go so far to slaughter their own child legally to the gods now in America because they can get on with there life to over thrown the role of men and ruin their families. This is a result of being so defiant and demonically influenced by the death this nugatory world has to bring.

You are not allowed to be intimate with your wife when she is having a period.

Adam was the first male he was God's firstborn son. He was not supposed to sin and from the beginning of the time of Adam to the time of the second Adam would come would be prophetically seven days - one for a thousand years. Right now we are in that sixth day or millennium waiting for the Messiah to come and the new heavens and the new earth is at the beginning of the 7th day. That means the entire of creation is technically unclean at the moment. Yeshua becomes the priest on the 8th day after the 7th and we are circumcised and also become priests.

The word for son in this passage is not ben but zakar. This is derived from the primitive Hebrew verb root meaning to remember, to recall, memory, to mention, to record. The Passover is to be done in remembrance of Yeshua who is the Passover Lamb. Hence, Torah is telling us that every male child is set as a "remembrance" - a remembrance to a promise of Genesis 3 the seed war that the seed of the woman will win.

Not only that, the woman continues in her purification process for 33 days. Yeshua died at 33 years old. This might be saying that the moment the son is born he has 33 years until he is purified. By the end of that he is pure. This process is a temporarily exemption from ordinary "community" life and social responsibilities. She needs to have as few distractions as possible.

When the mother has a daughter, she is unclean for 2 weeks 14 days and her purification goes for 66 days this time. Why is twice as long for a female as it is for a male? The answer is because the fact that the male cannot progenate, only females produce new life. By default by the mother having girl she is carrying more than just her. The girl has the ability to reproduce when she gets older - this is why girls cause the mother to have a longer unclean and purification period. Remember that the state of becoming unclean happens where life touches death. Each life reminds us that we are mortal, and as a girl has the capacity to create more life, she therefore has the capacity to bring about more mortality.

The girl takes longer to develop their immune systems so it requires a longer care and intimate bonding with the mother.

The female time period is 14+66=80. There are 120 Jubilees that we are to be on this earth which is 6000 years - 80X50(one Jubilee)=4000 years. Yeshua came 4000 years after Creation and took on the sin of the adulterous wife by being sold as a woman 30 pieces of sliver.

The male is 7+33=40 (40 days Moses in the mount and Jesus in the Desert). And 40X50 (one Jubilee)=2000.  Yeshua after He his first coming will return to the Father for 2000 years until He returns as the conquering King - Messiah Ben David.

WHAT?! It is a sin to have children!? Is it a command from YHWH to be fruitful and multiply? Why is the mother commanded to give a sin offering? You became clean by immersing yourself in water, but by having a child, this is the only time when the mother needed to bring a sin offering and be washed. This is because it reinforces the concept back in year one when Adam and Eve sinned. And when that happened, sin came forth spiritually into the human genome. The woman did not sin. She had just gave birth to a child, and very single human child is born into sin.
"Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." Psalm 51:5
So the mother's offering is giving to her child. This means the child is being born into the spirit of forgiveness immediately, he is covered in blood. This is the concept of Yeshua was saying about being born again! Being born into the shedding of His blood and forgiveness! Just like the mother must wash herself with water and make a blood sacrifice for her child is the same how we must be baptised through water and His saving grace. You are born once through your mother's water, but until you are covered in blood you are not born again. The Gospel is written all over Tazria!

Why does YHWH connect these laws with leprosy and laws of giving birth?  This is because, like last week, deals with clean and unclean.

Leprosy is mold on the surface on something. It is a horrible disease. The Hebrew word for leprosy is tsaraath which is interestingly the same word tsara for people's speech or evil speech - Lashon Hara. When you speak, just how YHWH can affect things with sound, the frequencies that we emit from certain words affect others in many ways. Be careful what you say because the power in in the tongue. What comes out actually creates what becomes of you and others.
Water is the primordial source of Creation which God used with
His word to make "good light" and a "good creation." If His words can
effect water, and we can do this too, then how would this affect people
who are made of 70% of water? Love thy neighbour.

It is connected to what we look like and our physical presents. If YHWH speak to someone badly, they would have leprosy in the spiritual realm and would be very unlucky it  is manifests. Sin restricts them where they can go in the spiritual realm. YHWH can forgive you but it takes repentance and the total submission to His ways that He will make right with you. When He forgives you, you are not in full restoration. As the Torah commands, you need to bring restitution.

The priest that examines the suspected leper, is Yeshua when He judges our sins. If we sin accidentally, there is still a sore that looks like leprosy but is not deep in the skin. If the sin was willing, then it will be real leprosy that is deep in the skin. If there is signs of leprosy, that means they have a virus and must be removed from the spiritual house of Israel so they do get effected by the same Lashon Hara!

The Hebrew for skin is or. It is a masculine noun meaning hide. It is derived from the primitive root verb "ur" meaning stripped naked or laid bare or turned inside out. The skin in some way revealing the sate of affairs on the inside? The word for flesh in our Bibles is the Hebrew noun basar. It comes from the root word to bear or publish good news (Gospel). The Hebrew is telling us that our flesh is created to bear and publish the Gospel. Yeshua's death allows us to be clean of this.
"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption." 1 Corinthians 15:50

I honesty think this is where i am at. I am at the stage of being kept from face to face fellowship with like minded believers in isolation because YHWH has identified spiritual uncleanliness in my life. As we speak, in order to regain that fellowship, which i vehemently desire, we must get right with Him and follow His commandments and repent to make restitution. He will bring us back when the time is up. How great will that day be to be drawing near to YHWH and to witness His promise of going back to the Garden as it were, back to community and human connection.

Principle never trumps over compassion, when there is repentance. Principle trumps over compassion, when there is no repentance. This is how YHWH's good justice works.

Sin in our life is like tsara (mold). It is so serious because you cannot see it until it kills you because it is sporadic and can get into your lungs. This is why YHWH needs to remove those with this same disease from the community or else everyone will die.

Hand became leprous
Exodus 4:6 Furthermore hw"hy> said to him, "Now put your hand in your bosom." And he
put his hand in his bosom, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, like
snow. 7 And He said, "Put your hand in your bosom again." So he put his hand in his
bosom again, and drew it out of his bosom, and behold, it was restored like his other
flesh. 8 "Then it will be, if they do not believe you, nor heed the message of the first sign,
that they may believe the message of the latter sign.
Leprosy is actually a very bad translation for the word tzara’at. We’re not real sure what the skin disease was, but the Hebrews considered it as an outward sign of the infected person’s inward spiritual condition. In other words, the person was seen as being disciplined or cursed by Elohim. Let’s try to put ourselves in the Israelite’s position a moment. They probably felt like they were the diseased hand….like they had been cursed. They had been polluted by Egyptian culture and Egyptian religion. But there was hope. When Moses pulled his hand out of his bosom….out of his side, verse 7 says that it was restored “like his flesh”….. “flesh of my flesh”…sound familiar? Eve, the perfect bride…could restoration like that be possible? I think they may have found hope in the picture of the restored hand. Ardelle tells us that this disease we are reading in this parsha is a manifestation of spiritual uncleanness and the reality of what our condition is.

There is a Messianic concept in this in Exodus.
Conceal - reveal - tzara'at
Yeshua concealed, throughout scripture, then revealed in His first advent to become the afflicted one.
Conceal - reveal - whole
Yeshua departs but when He returns and is revealed, He will make everything new, He will bring wholeness/shalom.

Just as Adam and Eve had to leave the Garden because of sin, those with leprosy must also leave the camp likewise. It was all of a result of an inward attitude that was rebellious.

Verse 11 tells us you can discern that someone used to be a sinner that slandered people or in other words, had leprosy because of the scars.

Hmmm... So if there are sores all over your body the Bible says you are clean? When the sores turn white, the priest (Yeshua) declares the man clean. Interesting because those without sin will be clothed in line garments and purify is the colour white. This person is  dead to the flesh - both are pictures of the Messiah. You must therefore die to your flesh and wash yourself in His word to be declared clean.

If it is raw, that means the person is unclean and has stopped dying to self and is living is the filth of the world. It is a sad situation where a person who has gone through so much and considered following YHWH and then chooses to go back to his old ways without guilt, is a false convert.

If someone speaks slanderously against someone else on anything, instantly in the spiritual realm they are tsarot. God will remove that person according to His Word, from His presence, but He does this because He loves that person and all the people that person slandered. This person can only he brought back unless they do what Torah says which is to restore what he has done - coming back 100% clean. He will let the man in afterwards but in the outer parts of the camp, When there is a special moment those people will be busy or are sick. This is because if they came to the presence of God think they are clean, will be annihilated by His glory like Nadab and Abihu. He will leave people today that are unclean from special meetings in congratulation because they are still unclean and will effects the spiritual atmosphere. This restitution happens when we fully repent, that is to do everything we can to repair what we destroyed. You said something bad to someone, say sorry 7 or 70 times as it says in the brit hadasha.

People do not have to worry about being unclean ceremonially because we do not live in the physical manifest presence of YHWH in our midst. Might that change when we are gathered in the wilderness in the Greater Exodus? Was t'zarat serve as a redemptive purpose? Was it meant to lead people to repentance so YHWH can deal with the uncleanness within? This can be describes as the refiner's fire. where the fire is the trails that come along to help us grow in righteousness.

We are to have spotless garment, of pure white linen, representing an inward spiritual state of holiness and sanctification to YHWH. Generally it is believed that YHWH lovingly strikes a person's garments with t'zarat as a form of discipline designed to root out a potentially lethal attitude or sin pattern which the person has, over a period of time, accepted as a part of his or her life, but which he or she has attempted to cover up and conceal (same word for garment - beged) by outward behaviour patterns which he or she intends to make others and sometimes themselves think he or she is holier than thou. False piety is absolutely unacceptable Mr Cardinal Pell and Joel Osteen! People who are up on the stage of the world always need to put on mask so they can get by. I much prefer people who are real and are not hypocrites personally. People who are honest, and humble than all the false niceness that is so futile. YHWH sees through it all and in the end so does everyone else. We are not to wear garments in order to conceal.

He loves us, and always gives us a number of chances to acknowledge our sins and submit them to Him for cleansing. But of we do not heed His call, and choose to cling to our secret sins instead of Him - all the while putting on a show of piety for the world to see - He will most certainly expose us publicly in one way or the other. There is no point trying to hide.
"For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad." Luke 8:17
Deal with all the things you are hiding (i am also speaking to myself) whatever it is.

Tzara'at is a condition which is supposed to be discovered by self examination. Those they suspect they had tzara'at were to then present themselves to a priest. They were agents of healing and not of judgement or condemnation.

If there is mold identified in a house , the whole house is unclean and everything gets washed and cleaned and 7 days later if there is still mold, they wash again and again if it is still there after two times, the building is condemned and is demolished.

King Uzziah was a righteous king of the House of Judah that ruled around c. 783 – 742 BC and was very powerful. However, his great fame and power made him proud and he thought it was right for him to take an unauthorised role as a priest to burn incense on the altar. He got angry at the priests rebukes and suddenly, leprosy broke out on his forehead.

Because of his pride, Ussiah was ostracised for the rest of his life. His life as a great king was over. He was greatly blessed by YHWH but got carried away and choose not to humble himself as he was rebuked. Let's not respond similarly when we are rebuked, let's not allow us to become a fool of ourselves.

In Numbers 12, Miriam says something negative to Moses just to make herself look big. As we saw, evil speech in the same word for leprosy. What do you know, the evil speech must have been so bad, it manifested in a physically leprosy disease. This was a results of not regarding what Moses said. This is very dangerous because most of Christianity believe that the law of Moses is witchcraft! This is what happens to those that think the Torah is done away with.

PROPHETS AND NEW TESTAMENT

Naaman is another man who was made great by YHWH's will. Just like King Uzziah, he got angry at the commands given by Elisha to clean himself in the Jordan 7 times. He was expecting Elisha to come out himself instead of sending a message and to show a big spectacle. Then Naaman's servants tell him to go to wash in the Jordan and he actually listens to his servants. When he listens, things change. Being humble and being clean seem to go hand in hand.

Yeshua heals 10 lepers. Only one gave thanks to YHWH and praised Yeshua at His feet. The lack of thanks and pride go hand in hand.
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." 1 Thessalonians 5:18

The woman that was unclean knew the scripture in Malachi where Yeshua comes with "healing in His wings" which are His tzitziyot. When we are washed in the word are familiar with it and live it out in our lives, we will make restitution to our relationship with Him.

The fact she went to the doctors or teachers and they cannot fully heal her, is a picture of the Northern Kingdom Ephraim  who cannot be healed in the world but can only be healed fully by repenting and turning back to YHWH and His word. We have been slowly dying for true healing and truth.
"Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit." Jeremiah 16:19

The girl that died at 12 and was resurrected is supposedly a picture of the House of Judah who have been in dead works and have no life salvation in Yeshua.

Mary's virgin birth gave birth to the seed promised in Genesis 3. Yeshua was circumcised on the 8th day around Yom Kippur, which means, if we want to walk as He walked, us males should consider circumcision. After the 33 days of purification, since Mary and Joseph brought 2 turtledoves for the purification means that they were poor. However, little did they know how rich Mary was that she had indeed brought forth a lamb - the sinless lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. Sometimes we may not realise how rich we really are.

Pigs represent rebellion against God's Torah. If they were considered food Yeshua would be sinning here by sending the demons into them and drowning them. They are not defined as food so therefore, Yeshua was not wasting food, He was suffocating rebellion against God. The 2000 pigs is also the 2000 years until His second coming because during this time there will be a rebellion against God's Torah. For about 2000 years, God's people have been corrupting themselves and making them unfit to have God dwell in them by eating pork and bacon. We are closing in to the end of the 2000 years and more and more people are returning to His ways. This coincides with the judgement of Ephraim.

If demons desired to be in a pig, that should give us a clue. Unclean is not compatible with the clean.

KJV - "turtles??" - OOPS!

"And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean." Leviticus 12:8

No. She is not to bring TURTLES because they are unclean! But rather turtledoves:
"And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;) And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons." Luke 2

When Yeshua healed those that are with leprosy, He told them to go to the priest to make sure they are inspected according to the Torah so it may be a testimony of the works of YHWH.

Paul is saying that continuing in sin will worsen our plague of leprosy that we have all been infected by sin.

Shalom
