From Your Living Waters 2008:
"Now as we conclude the book of Bemidbar, the people stand at the very gates of the Promised Land, patiently awaiting instructions to move forward. Moses has been commanded by hwhy to record this complete list of journeys with their 42 encampments. Each location is said to be a clue as to the journey that we will be on as we keep in mind our goal of the Promised Land. It does not escape our thoughts that there are also 42 months (3 ½ years) in the Great Tribulation. Let’s look at just a few of the names of the places where the Israelites camped. First, Bemidbar 33:3 gives the name of the place they left: Bemidbar 33:3 They departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians. Rameses means “child of the sun”, and it was from here that they departed from Egypt. The date given for their departure is actually a full-moon date. Most of us have also been “children of the sun” as in the past our faith focused on the solar events of Christmas and Easter. Today, we have broken camp (at Passover) and headed in the direction of Sukkot: Bemidbar 33:5 Then the children of Israel moved from Rameses and camped at Sukkot. The celebration of Sukkot is often one of the first steps for people as they begin their Hebrew roots journey. Sukkot is one of the three times during the year that Israelites are commanded to be in Jerusalem. Yet this Sukkot was located in Egypt. I think it foreshadows the fact that we will be gathering for this festival before we are all actually able to celebrate it in Jerusalem."
These are the meanings of all the 42 places the Israelites went in the Wilderness for 41 years.Could this be the exact same route we will be following in the Greater Exodus?

There are 42 cities that Israel camps in the first Exodus. 42 is such a prophetic number and relates to the length of Nimrod's reign.
The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 42
Forty-two is a number with a direct connection to the coming Antichrist. His evil efforts will last 42 months in the end time, and thus forty-two is firmly associated with him.
Then the angel gave me a measuring rod like a staff, saying, "Arise and measure the temple of God, and the altar . . . and they shall trample upon the holy city for forty-two months" (Revelation 11:1 - 2)
Revelation 13 states that the end time Beast power will be so powerful that NO ONE will be able to make war with him. He will speak great boastful things and be given the authority to do so for 42 months (Revelation 13:4 - 5). Forty-two is made up of 6 and 7, showing a link between mankind and God's spirit and a link between the Antichrist and Jesus Christ.
Appearances of the number forty-two
The phrase 'little children' appears forty-two times in the Old Testament.
The tribe of Levi was given 48 cities as part of their inheritance in the land of milk and honey. Six of these cities were to be designated as special 'cities of refuge' (Numbers 6 - 7) leaving forty-two other cities.
King Ahaziah of Judah began his reign at 42 years old but was only on the throne one year (2Chronicles 22:2).
The children of Israel had 42 sojournings or wandering in the desert until they finally were given rest (Numbers 33:1 - 50).
When we substitute numerics for letters in Nimrod's name we find forty-two playing a role. Nimrod's name equates to 294, which is 42 x 7. Forty-two is often found as a factor in Anti-Christian names.
Elisha and 42
A group of young men (roughly 30 - 40 in age) began to make fun of the prophet Elisha after his friend and mention Elijah was taken away from him in a fiery chariot. They shouted 'Get out of here, you bald guy!' to Elisha as he passed them by. The prophet did not waste any time letting the young men know that what they were doing was unacceptable to God. He turned, stared at them and cursed them in God's name. Then two large female bears came out of the woods and tore to PIECES forty-two of the men (2Kings 2:24)!
Additional info on the Biblical Meaning of 42
The Levites have no inheritance so there were 48 Levitical cities set up in the Promise Land. That means every tribe had the tribe of Levi living amongst them. This is because the Levites are the ones that taught the Law.
"Genesis 49:5-7 World English Bible (WEB)
5 “Simeon and Levi are brothers.
Their swords are weapons of violence.
6 My soul, don’t come into their council.
My glory, don’t be united to their assembly;
for in their anger they killed men.
In their self-will they hamstrung cattle.
7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce;
and their wrath, for it was cruel.
I will divide them in Jacob,
and scatter them in Israel." Genesis 49:5-7
The tribe of Simenon dwelt amongst Judah. So to be logical, we are not talking about the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel, it is technically the 8 lost tribes.
Involuntary manslaughter - if a person kills someone by accident, they would have to have a safe place of refuge before anyone is willing to take his life through revenge. YHWH says if any blood is spilt in the land, restitution must be made in the court of law. The cities of refuge ensure the murder will have a fair trail to see weather the murder was intentional. These people stayed in the cities of refuge until the High Priest at the time dies.
Verse 25 of chapter 35 describes the High Priest (Yeshua) as anointed with the holy oil. Messiah or Christ both mean the one who is anointed with the holy oil.
"Numbers 35:28 World English Bible (WEB)
28 because he should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the death of the high priest, the man slayer shall return into the land of his possession."
There are a few things being pictured here. There is an idea that we can destroy people by the things we say and do. This would certainly qualify for something unintentionally murdering them. Another way we can look at it is that we have all killed Yeshua through our sin, though it was not intentional, but our actions caused His death. Another thing we can take from this verse is the diaspora of the House of Israel and the House of Judah. They are also not to return to their land of possession until God leads them out in the End Days in the Greater Exodus, which begins by accepting the blood of the High Priest when He dies as anointment so they can be redeemed.
"Ezekiel 11:16 World English Bible (WEB)
16 Therefore say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Whereas I have removed them far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries where they have come."
If you are outside of YHWH by not accepting the Messiah you are subject to being killed by the blood avenger.
"John 8:44 World English Bible (WEB)
44 You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and its father."
Satan was the murder, so according to the Torah, he has to die.
"Numbers 35:21 World English Bible (WEB)
21 or in hostility struck him with his hand, so that he died, he who struck him shall surely be put to death. He is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death, when he meets him."
When Yeshua meets Satan at the end he is cast into the Lake of Fire.
It also makes sense that Yeshua frees the captives in the city of refuge or sin.
"Luke 4:17-19 Tree of Life Version (TLV)
17 When the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him, He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written,
18 “The Ruach Adonai is on me,
because He has anointed me
to proclaim Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to set free the oppressed,
19 and to proclaim the year of Adonai’s favor.”

PROPHETS AND NEW TESTAMENT
Jeremiah 3 speaks of what YHWH has done unto His people and how He will redeem the bride.
It does not just mean people calling themselves Jesus will come, it also says Christians that claim the name of Jesus will miss lead many to lawlessness or sin. So we need to be more careful what Christians tell us with the discernment of the Holy Spirit.
The eagles that gather around the body could be metaphorical for the discovery of Nimrod's tomb by US special Forces in 2003.
When Paul says: "2 Corinthians 12:7 World English Bible (WEB)

7 By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively." He is referring to Numbers 33:55 when YHWH tells the Israelites that the thorn in their flesh will be the idols and the pagan nations and peoples. It is an idiom for persecution. When Yeshua said that they will persecute you like they did to me, while He is wearing the crown of thorns confirms this idiom is not an accident or stroke of genius by Paul. Grace is the power of God that enables us to do what we are called to do and to be what we are called to be.
"2 Corinthians 11 World English Bible (WEB)
11 I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness, but indeed you do bear with me. 2 For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. For I married you to one husband, that I might present you as a pure virgin to Christ. 3 But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if you receive a different spirit, which you did not receive, or a different “good news”, which you did not accept, you put up with that well enough. 5 For I reckon that I am not at all behind the very best apostles. 6 But though I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not unskilled in knowledge. No, in every way we have been revealed to you in all things. 7 Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached to you God’s Good News free of charge? 8 I robbed other assemblies, taking wages from them that I might serve you. 9 When I was present with you and was in need, I wasn’t a burden on anyone, for the brothers, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my need. In everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and I will continue to do so. 10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no one will stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia. 11 Why? Because I don’t love you? God knows. 12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them that desire an occasion, that in which they boast, they may be found even as we. 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ’s apostles. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
16 I say again, let no one think me foolish. But if so, yet receive me as foolish, that I also may boast a little. 17 That which I speak, I don’t speak according to the Lord, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting. 18 Seeing that many boast after the flesh, I will also boast. 19 For you bear with the foolish gladly, being wise. 20 For you bear with a man, if he brings you into bondage, if he devours you, if he takes you captive, if he exalts himself, if he strikes you on the face. 21 I speak by way of disparagement, as though we had been weak. Yet in whatever way anyone is bold (I speak in foolishness), I am bold also. 22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the offspring[a] of Abraham? So am I. 23 Are they servants of Christ? (I speak as one beside himself) I am more so; in labors more abundantly, in prisons more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in deaths often. 24 Five times from the Jews I received forty stripes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I suffered shipwreck. I have been a night and a day in the deep. 26 I have been in travels often, perils of rivers, perils of robbers, perils from my countrymen, perils from the Gentiles, perils in the city, perils in the wilderness, perils in the sea, perils among false brothers; 27 in labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, and in cold and nakedness.
28 Besides those things that are outside, there is that which presses on me daily, anxiety for all the assemblies. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and I don’t burn with indignation? 30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that concern my weakness. 31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, he who is blessed forever more, knows that I don’t lie. 32 In Damascus the governor under King Aretas guarded the city of the Damascenes desiring to arrest me. 33 Through a window I was let down in a basket by the wall, and escaped his hands.
2 Corinthians 12 World English Bible (WEB)
12 It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. For I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I don’t know, or whether out of the body, I don’t know; God knows), such a one caught up into the third heaven. 3 I know such a man (whether in the body, or outside of the body, I don’t know; God knows), 4 how he was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 5 On behalf of such a one I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in my weaknesses. 6 For if I would desire to boast, I will not be foolish; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, so that no man may think more of me than that which he sees in me, or hears from me. 7 By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively. 8 Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
Be strong! Be strong! And may we be strengthened!
Jonathon Karagiannis - 3/8/19
