TORAH

Here this the whole reason why i love studying the Bible. In this weeks Torah Portion, unfaithful Israel finally make it to the land, but demonstrated  their lack of faith disgracefully, when they behold the 30 foot giants that have infested the land. Their current sinful position had not improved from what we saw last week, and clearly it was not going to cut it for what was coming. It is going to take supreme faith to combat these giants. This is why the congregation had to be in the wilderness for 40 more years. As the Israelites' journey reflects our lives, and we must be able to have courage and faith to face the "giants" of our lives. It seems in this parsha, they had forgotten that Yeshua/Jesus was fighting for them:
"“Behold, I send an angel before you, to keep you by the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Pay attention to him, and listen to his voice. Don’t provoke him, for he will not pardon your disobedience, for my name is in him. But if you indeed listen to his voice, and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries. For my angel shall go before you, and bring you in to the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off." Exodus 23:20-23

The people of Israel did not trust YHWH. That is why they wanted spies to go before them instead of trusting YHWH to go before them!
Shelach is Hebrew for sending out. This is the same word for disciples and messenger. Modern day missionary.

Because Torah principles operate in cycles, things that have gone around will again come around. Not trusting in the promises of YHWH to take us to the Promise Land,a nd instead desiring Egypt (picture of the secular world) could again prevent us from entering the Promise Land where the Garden of Eden truly was.

When the Israelites prepare to go into the land of Canaan for the first time, we are given the names of the spy’s tribe, the spy and the spy’s father, in that order. When you take each of these names (given in Numbers 13:4-16) and string them together into a story, this is what you end up with:
[Num. 13:4] See a Son! Listen and Remember!
[Num. 13:5] Listen to my noble judge.
[Num. 13:6] He shall be praised whole-heartedly {Caleb}. He will be prepared.
[Num. 13:7] He will bring a reward, and he will redeem. Let Him increase,
[Num. 13:8] for He shall be doubly fruitful to save for eternity.
[Num. 13:9] Son of my right hand, He will escape and be healed.
[Num. 13:10] Dwelling in God - His fortune, my confidant.
[Num. 13:11] Let Him add forgetfulness of my invader (while) on my horse.
[Num. 13:12] Judge my people of God. My camel is
[Num. 13:13] happy and hidden.[13] Who is as God?
[Num. 13:14] My wrestling. My hiding. Where have you vanished?
[Num. 13:15] My fortune is to exalt God in my poverty.
[Num. 13:16] Drawing out to save; Yah is salvation! {Moses and Joshua}

Did Caleb know this? Had he reasoned this out within himself as he left to spy the land? I don’t know, but I do find that list to be quite interesting and prophetic! Regardless, Caleb had the faith to take the giants out and possess the promises of YHWH. That sounds great, but we must consider what Caleb and Joshua were actually facing before we cast judgement on the rest of the spies . At the time of the Numbers 13 encounter, Caleb was a young man. Yet, he believed his God was bigger than the giants he faced. The others (aside from Joshua) however, fled in fear and did not trust YHWH. The result was 40 years wandering in the wilderness. Then, when all of that generation had died off, at about 80 years of age, Caleb was given the opportunity to enter the land once again and fight for the promise — and that he did!

YHWH is sending out the best of the best generals in the armies. Yet they scattered like scared cats when they saw the hulkish giants living in the Promise Land! This is a result of disobedience and lack of trust. They were not spiritually ready yet. They needed to be humbled in the Wilderness for 40 more years. It seems impossible to go in the land now, well for man anyway but not for God.

Why are these 12 generals being sent? There is our perceptive and YHWH's preoperative. What He sees is the ancient Nephilim (demons) manifested fighting his warriors and warring angels who are empowered by His Spirit. The demonic atmosphere of the giants is a spiritual manifestation of the uncleanness and genetic corruption that was passed down by the aquatic pre-flood Nephilim. This literally is a "giant" test, to see if they are walking by the Spirit. If they were, they would have slaughtered the giants right there and then. Clearly they failed miserably.

In fact, the ten spies actually spread a malicious rumour, saying that the land was good but the inhabitants were bad, people staring saying that the land was bad too (despite the giant grapes). This fear was so intense that 1) the people were on the verge of stoning Joshua and Caleb who suggested that trusting in God will help them take the land and 2) they wanted Moses gone and a new leader (Korah possibly) to take them back to Egypt (which was also overrun by the giant Hyksos [Amalekites]). This is the reason why YHWH did not take His people the short way to the land because of the giant Philistines in B'Shallach.

When things start to get real and a bit scary is that a excuse for us to draw away from YHWH? They were in fear of war and since they have been camping for one year in the wilderness, they did not want to struggle anymore. As long as YHWH fed them and took care of them they were okay, but now that they will have to fight against giants, they want to return to a giant infested Egypt. However, it was not just the fear of war, it was because they had waning trust in YHWH and had fallen short of Hid glory.

Do not let this be us! Everything here has a bearing out of future events. This is all about our future. Let us not recoil in terror and lack of faith when we face the Nephilim of the End Days.

Amos 2:9

New Living Translation (NLT)
“But as my people watched,
    I destroyed the Amorites,
though they were as tall as cedars
    and as strong as oaks.
I destroyed the fruit on their branches
    and dug out their roots.
The account in Jasher 85:
1 And king Arad the Canaanite, who dwelt in the south, heard that the Israelites had come by the way of the spies, and he arranged his forces to fight against the Israelites.
2 And the children of Israel were greatly afraid of him, for he had a great and heavy army, so the children of Israel resolved to return to Egypt.
3 And the children of Israel turned back about the distance of three days' journey unto Maserath Beni Jaakon, for they were greatly afraid on account of the king Arad.
4 And the children of Israel would not get back to their places, so they remained in Beni Jaakon for thirty days.
5 And when the children of Levi saw that the children of Israel would not turn back, they were jealous for the sake of the Lord, and they rose up and fought against the Israelites their brethren, and slew of them a great body, and forced them to turn back to their place, Mount Hor.
6 And when they returned, king Arad was still arranging his host for battle against the Israelites.
7 And Israel vowed a vow, saying, If thou wilt deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.
8 And the Lord hearkened to the voice of Israel, and he delivered the Canaanites into their hand, and he utterly destroyed them and their cities, and he called the name of the place Hormah.
9 And the children of Israel journeyed from Mount Hor and pitched in Oboth, and they journeyed from Oboth and they pitched at Ije-abarim, in the border of Moab.
10 And the children of Israel sent to Moab, saying, Let us pass now through thy land into our place, but the children of Moab would not suffer the children of Israel to pass through their land, for the children of Moab were greatly afraid lest the children of Israel should do unto them as Sihon king of the Amorites had done to them, who had taken their land and had slain many of them.
11 Therefore Moab would not suffer the Israelites to pass through his land, and the Lord commanded the children of Israel, saying, That they should not fight against Moab, so the Israelites removed from Moab.
12 And the children of Israel journeyed from the border of Moab, and they came to the other side of Arnon, the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites, and they pitched in the border of Sihon, king of the Amorites, in the wilderness of Kedemoth.
13 And the children of Israel sent messengers to Sihon, king of the Amorites, saying,
14 Let us pass through thy land, we will not turn into the fields or into the vineyards, we will go along by the king's highway until we shall have passed thy border, but Sihon would not suffer the Israelites to pass.
15 So Sihon collected all the people of the Amorites and went forth into the wilderness to meet the children of Israel, and he fought against Israel in Jahaz.
16 And the Lord delivered Sihon king of the Amorites into the hand of the children of Israel, and Israel smote all the people of Sihon with the edge of the sword and avenged the cause of Moab.
17 And the children of Israel took possession of the land of Sihon from Aram unto Jabuk, unto the children of Ammon, and they took all the spoil of the cities.
18 And Israel took all these cities, and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites.
19 And all the children of Israel resolved to fight against the children of Ammon, to take their land also.
20 So the Lord said to the children of Israel, Do not besiege the children of Ammon, neither stir up battle against them, for I will give nothing to you of their land, and the children of Israel hearkened to the word of the Lord, and did not fight against the children of Ammon.
21 And the children of Israel turned and went up by the way of Bashan to the land of Og, king of Bashan, and Og the king of Bashan went out to meet the Israelites in battle, and he had with him many valiant men, and a very strong force from the people of the Amorites.
22 And Og king of Bashan was a very powerful man, but Naaron his son was exceedingly powerful, even stronger than he was.
23 And Og said in his heart, Behold now the whole camp of Israel takes up a space of three parsa, now will I smite them at once without sword or spear.
24 And Og went up Mount Jahaz, and took therefrom one large stone, the length of which was three parsa, and he placed it on his head, and resolved to throw it upon the camp of the children of Israel, to smite all the Israelites with that stone.
25 And the angel of the Lord came and pierced the stone upon the head of Og, and the stone fell upon the neck of Og that Og fell to the earth on account of the weight of the stone upon his neck.
26 At that time the Lord said to the children of Israel, Be not afraid of him, for I have given him and all his people and all his land into your hand, and you shall do to him as you did to Sihon.
27 And Moses went down to him with a small number of the children of Israel, and Moses smote Og with a stick at the ankles of his feet and slew him.
28 The children of Israel afterward pursued the children of Og and all his people, and they beat and destroyed them till there was no remnant left of them.

The reason why only two came back with a good report and ten with a negative report is again foreshadowing the scattering and the divorced 10 Lost Tribes of Israel and the return of the 2 Tribes in Judah. A truth is not established unless their are two witnesses.

Caleb and Joshua are like the two witnesses representing the two houses of Israel.

Osea or Hose who is named Josuha is part of Yeshua's name Yahoshua, which means YHWH's salvation. He was the one that brought good news (Gospel) to the people about the land! YHWH is prophetically telling us the Gospel right here! Because he was walking in the Spirit. Joshua later on after Moses' death will be the new leader or should i say "new Moses", to bring His people into His Promised Land to defeat the enemy. Prophetic of His Second Coming. Note that Joshua (Yeshua) is the son of Nun. Nun is the Hebrew letter for life! It is Yeshua (YHWH saves) the son of Life! Yeshua the son of life will lead us to the Promise Land! It is a picture He is showing us! What did Yeshua/Joshua say?
"even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28
"But if any harm follows, then you must take life for life," Exodus 21:23
"For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it." Mark 8:35
"In him was life, and the life was the light of men." John 1:4
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
"Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." John 6:35
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." John 14:6

The ripening of the grapes tells us it is fall.
I believe this is a case of ancient GMOs. The fruit of the land somehow adapted to the environment since how much these
giants ate.
By measuring how big the grapes had to be to a point when you could lift them up by yourselves you can estimate the height of the Anakim.

The non-verbal message the spies brought back:

  • Grapes = joy
  • Figs = health and prosperity
  • Pomegranates = heart, Torah and High Priest

Kadesh-Barnea is the critical crucible where suddenly everyone around us seems to have an attitude and an opinion.

May we have the faith of Caleb! He knew his calling. He was looking through the eyes of YHWH. They are fighting 30 foot warriors! He strategized without dout saying that the victory is already won by the power of YHWH. We do not run from Godzilla, we go on our knees and ask for what do from YHWH. Then we run facing the giant without thinking twice!
"Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it!” Numbers 13:30

It is the voice of the enemy saying that we cannot accomplish what YHWH puts before us.

We need to be very careful what we say.
"We wish that we had died in the land of Egypt, or that we had died in this wilderness!" Numbers 14:2
You might just get what you ask for. YHWH did not condemn them, Israel spoke their own grave. Words have power. YHWH's word created the world at the sound of His voice. We have the same power because we are created in His image. When we say positive things to water or to a plant, it tastes clean and the plant blooms. But if we say negative things, the water turns mouldy and the plant withers. When you speak life - it happens. When you speak death - it happens.

Contrast what is said here with Jacob/Israel. He said to do not let them bury me in Egypt! The generation of the Exodus of 1441 BC  allowed their fleshly appetites, attitudes and opinions to not only derail their own destiny, but to forsake the Patriarchal inheritance. Their decision to reject the Promise Land and die in the desert dishonoured both the legacies of Israel and Joseph and the covenant of YHWH.

When you speak, just how YHWH can affect things with sound, the frequencies that we emit from certain words affect others in many ways. Be careful what you say because the power in in the tongue. What comes out actually creates what becomes of you and others.
Water is the primordial source of Creation which God used with
His word to make "good light" and a "good creation." If His words can
effect water, and we can do this too, then how would this affect people
who are made of 70% of water? Love thy neighbour.

A real man does not stick out his chest with pride. A real man falls on his face and humbles himself.

Paul is quoting from Numbers 14:15
"Now if you killed this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of you will speak, saying, ‘Because Yahweh was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore to them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness.’
" having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;" Ephesians 2:15
This is also talking about the regathering and the unity of the two house of Israel.
"tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand. 20 The sticks whereon you write shall be in your hand before their eyes. 21 Say to them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, where they are gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all;" Ezekiel 37:19-22

Did Moses have the right emotionally to let YHWH kill the people? Yes because they were disobedient and according to His Torah, they would be dead. This is the curse of the law. Because Moses fell on His face before the Most High God begging for deliverance and forgiveness. YHWH embraces Moses' plea because Moses uses YHWH's own word to justify why He should spare His people. Moses was praying for his enemies because Israel wanted to stone Moses. They are deceived brethren.

Why is YHWH saying that He said put them to the test ten times? From YHWH's perspective each one of those ten spies that came back in fear and terror that they cannot take the land, were individually standing before His throne, testifying. Each one of the generals were being individually judged by their words. What you say is who you are and who you are is what your calling and destiny is. If you are negative and constantly critical and judgemental, you better being critical enough to realise that your judgement will be evaluated by the Most High the same way you judge others. The more grace you give the more grace you get.
"For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:37

In the people were being logical in their own eyes. "33 footers, hello? YHWH are you blind?!" YHWH connects the fact that those that did not believe that they can take the land are rejecting Him in the process. If you do not believe the promise of God, He looks at it from His perspective, you do not believe in Him. That means His promises/commandments and Himself are inseparable.

YHWH is using court-case language regarding the fate of His people that want to remain in the wilderness. The message is simple: we are to know our calling in Him. We are to know the words of the living God, speak them and they will bring life.

"But your little ones, that you said should be captured or killed, them I will bring in, and they shall know the land which you have rejected." Numbers 14:31
As is YHWH will let their little ones be killed by giants. No, he is going to train them up for 40 years to be warriors for the kingdom that will take the land you despised.

Why is YHWH saying that His people at this moment had infidelity? It is because sin like this is liken unto breaking a marriage covenant. This is how the northern ten tribes got divorced. They refused to listen to the commandments of YHWH that allowed them to take the promises.

The 40 years came form one year for each of the 40 days the spies went out to spy the land.

As soon as YHWH convinces them, the Israelites repent but still again disobey God because they wanted to go into the Promise Land when the judgement had already been made. So what they were really doing is confessing they have sinned while preparing to willingly sin. As soon as some crossed the mountain, they were ambushed and utterly crushed by packs of Amalekites and Canaanite giants. Their concerns came true. They could not take the land by themselves. The doors of opportunity have been shut.

After this the Israelites went to Kadesh Barnea/Sela/Joktheel/Petra and Bozrah - the same place we will be travelling to in the Last Days. It took them for another 8 mouths until they arrived to immediately celebrate the Passover at 1439 BC. They then spent 38 continuous year at Kadesh Barna (they did not leave or go back to Egypt) then in 1401 BC on the 40th year they departed from Jordan to Canaan. During these 38 years, around 1.5 million Israelites over the age of 20 died.
"24 Then they scorned the pleasing land—
they did not trust in His word.
25 Instead, they grumbled in their tents.
They would not listen to Adonai’s voice.
26 Therefore He swore to them
that He would make them fall in the desert,
27 and disperse their offspring among the nations,
and scatter them through the lands." Pslam 106:24-27
"12 Adonai alone guided him—
there was no foreign god with him.
13 He made him mount the heights of the land.
so he ate the produce of the field.
He suckled him with honey from a rock, (Sela - Petra, Bozrah)
with oil from a flinty boulder.
14 Butter of cattle and milk of a flock,
    with fat of lambs,
rams of the Bashan and he-goats,
with fat of the kidneys of wheat,
and blood of grapes you drank." Deuteronomy 32:12-14
Now that is some manna in the Wilderness in the End Days!

We know it was at Petra because Josephus says that Aaron, and Moses' tombs are in the Petra area. In his book Onomasticon, still to this day, in Petra we can see the rock Moses (wadi of Moseh) struck and the tomb of Aaron. We also know that Mariam died in the ancient cliff cities of Petra. Notice that the cliffs of Petra will perfectly act as a sheepfold.

The place of Paran is where Ishmael and Hagar settled after they were sent away from Abraham's camp in Va'Yera. Israel is about to take on the rebellious characteristics of Ishmael.

We find at the beginning of chapter 15 is an emphasis on grain offerings. To make this korban minchah a man has to recognise, acknowledge, and embrace the reality that nothing material is his own to keep or delight in a fleshly way. Everything that passes through a person's hands is only 'on loan' from the Creator and subject to his stewardship for the purposes of the Covenant.  Why is this so? It is all about bread (Yeshua). Because it will prepare them to entering into the land, where their daily production of manna given by YHWH will cease and bread will have to be produced by personal labour. It reminds us that we are co-labourers with Him.

This all speaks of wholly following YHWH and of recognising that salvation comes from Him.

Verse 22-26 teaches us about what to do when the community sins unintentionally. It is simple ALWAYS GET BACK UP, RUN TO HIS THRONE OF GRACE AND NOT WAY!
"If we say we have fellowship with Him and keep walking in the darkness, we are lying and do not practice the truth." 1 John 1:6
"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:" 1 John 2:1
"But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of His Son Yeshua purifies us from all sin." 1 John 1:7
It does not mean the gathered of logs blasphemed "the name" that he was punished like the Danite Egyptian in Torah Portion Emor, but it indicates that he challenged YHWH's authority and His will for the Sabbath, with the consequence of death by stoning. What we see in both of these stories is that those who intentionally blaspheme the Name, or the authority which is the instructions of Torah; whether he is an Israelite or sojourner, he will be put to death.

The first parallel between the events is the usage of the phrase "to Moshe and Aharon, and to all the congregation". This exact phrase only found twice in entire Torah. Once is in Numbers 15:33, and the second time is in the story of the scouts, after their return from the Promised Land.
The second parallel between the two stories can be found in the description of the actions of the people. In the story of the log gather, the congregation was "to stone him with stones" Sadly, it is reported that after Yeshua's and Caleb's report of the Land, that the congregation was ready "to stone them with stones.

So in Numbers 15, when Moses says to look for a tree (ets) and since the Land was the Garden of Eden, could it be that he was saying for the scouts to look for the Tree of Life?

Just as the the 5 foolish virgins that did not make it are just like those who rebelled in this parsha who did not follow YHWH wholly of trust His salvation - destined to stay in the wilderness, who reckoning the importance to keep the commandments, even though it is too late for them. This is why:
"the dragon became enraged at the woman and went off to make war with the rest of her offspring—those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yeshua." Revelation 12:17

The tassels, or the tzit-tzit, were attached to the corners of the garments. They were to be attached to the hem of the outer garments. Hem means reputation, like when David remorsefully removes Saul's hems which is a sign of YHWH giving David the right to become king.

Kanaph (corners) does not necessarily mean corners, but can also mean the "extremity" or "wing". A scalloped hem is the winged extremity of the garment. A fancy scalloped hem was the sign of nobility. Yeshua chastised the Pharisees for their pride reflected by the hem of their garments.

The healing of the woman with the blood issue fulfils Malachi 4:2
"But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise
with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
For a while before I had been struggling and fighting an endless battle against lust, temptation and pornography for around a year now. I've had enough with it and i feel desperately in need of intercessory prayer from brothers and sisters. Even after i was saved, it became a serious problem and one of my greatest weaknesses. I have brought this issue to YHWH and constantly have being knocking on His door to deliver me and give me strength to help resist the adversary. As a symptom to this, i have gone to many lengths to block those websites, stay in the Word, starve my flesh and to practice taking every through captive. But the enemy, even when i fight back, never gives up. I still fall at times, but it happens less and less every time. But it hurts more and more when i fall short. It is tormenting and i believe without His Holy Spirit, i'll probably be in a more desire situation now. I felt Abba suggests to start to get serious in linking up in fellowship with other members of the Body instead of going solo. Being 17 and one year old in Christ, i know no one outside the web that fears the Lord, is a vigilant Christian and has a personal relationship with Him, in my life yet. The enemy wants me to feel alone and tries to play on my emotions. Everyone in my life, though most have good morals and are loving don't seem have that repentant heart that i have now.

I highly recommend you check our the Fuel Project's series called the M word. It covers many ares about sexual sin.

The answer to sexual lust = TZITZIT!
"Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Matthew 5:27-28

Are you ready to take responsibility for what your eyes look at? Wearing tzitzit, is stops us form lusting after from what our eyes go whoring after. It reminds us that we are His people. He knows that there will be times when explicate images might flash in front of the filter of our eyes.

So, are you a Caleb or a Joshua (i am speaking to myself too here) - have you totality surrendered, and do you bring with you that possess materially and lay it before His feet. Are you a child of the promise?
Or are you a scoffer, someone who does not choose (hates) YHWH's word, someone who demonstrates their lack of faith by living a life of sin and disobedience?

PROPHETS AND NEW TESTAMENT

The name of "Jesus" is indeed beautiful and has power, however it was a late addition invention based on transliteration:

Yeshua (Joshua) entered the Promised Land twice. The first time, when he came to tour the land (first coming). The book of Joshua details the second coming, when he came with power to conquer the land filled with the offspring of Satan. Yeshua becomes the picture of the Messiah. The first time He was on earth was for 30 years, and He did not establish a kingdom. When He comes again, however, He will come as the leader of an army in order to establish His Kingdom forever!
The two men that spy out the land after the 40 years are like the two witnesses going into the world to redeem the unfaithful harlot (Rahab) to a clean bride.

The scarlet ribbon is like the blood of the Passover lamb on the doorpost that protects the woman from the wrath of God.

Those who are under the age of 20, YHWH says to them to not worry, that if they remain true to His word, He will bring the younger generation into the land.

It is a marriage covenant. When Israel rebelled, it was like adulterer in God's eyes. The whole purpose of the marriage foreshadows the unification of the two houses of Israel becoming one ahkad.

Those that are trusting in the riches of Egypt will find things hard to serve God. Since we are not of this world we despise the things of this world.

This is true faith. This is what Caleb and Joshua had all long.
"With men it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God!” Mark 10:27

The 2 disciples that questioned Yeshua about an important manner it displeased the other 10 disciples. This shows the faith of James and John who are pictures of Joshua and Caleb and the other 10 disciples are the 10 spies who gave a bad report. The title for this Torah portion is to send out the spies. This word shelach is the word for disciple!

Sinning with a high hand or blaspheming the Holy Spirit is the unforgivable sin as described in verse 29 to 30. He exits the kingdom of YHWH and chooses the dominion of death on his own accord. This is sinning with an attitude, it is a rebellion that we see in Korah next week. This is not just messing up, it is open, unashamed defiance - which is actuality demonic and purely satanic, because it is rebellion without care for the consequences. This is unacceptable. This blasphemy against the Holy Ghost friends, is sin without repentance or remorse.

"Amen, I tell you, all things will be forgiven the sons of men, the sins and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever slanders the Ruach ha-Kodesh never has release, but is guilty of an eternal sin!” Mark 3:28-29
"Listen and Obey, or Harden and Fall Away
7 Therefore, just as the Ruach ha-Kodesh says,
“Today if you hear His voice,
8 do not harden your hearts
    as in the rebellion,
on the day of testing in the wilderness.
9 There your fathers put Me to the test,
though they saw My works for forty years.
10 Therefore I was provoked by this generation,
and I said, ‘They always go astray in their heart,
and they have not known My ways.’
11 As I swore in my wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest.’”
12 Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you has an evil heart of unbelief that falls away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another day by day—as long as it is called “Today”—so that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partners of Messiah, if we hold our original conviction firm until the end. 15 As it is said,
“Today if you hear His voice,
do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”
16 Now which ones heard and rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt with Moses? 17 And with whom was He provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest? Was it not to those who were disobedient?" Hebrews 3:7-18
