TORAH

This week is so action packed and full of deep stuff - from amazing revelations about Jesus Christ to flying snakes and wars against giant kings. First we will look at the mystery and the parallels with Yeshua's sacrifice and the red heifer and how significant this is for Yeshua's fulfilment of the animal sacrifices and the end days. You literally need to watch this teaching by Jim Staley before we move on.
A chukat is something a bride who is deeply in love with and completely trusts her bridegroom does not simply because her bridegroom asks her to. Basically it asks us if we trust YHWH.

The heifer that has no yoke meaning the sight of instruction (ayin and lamed.) The Red Heifer therefore was used for no profane purposes - juts like Yeshua.

The Red Heifer to be killed outside the camp:
"Therefore, to make the people holy through His own blood, Yeshua also suffered outside the gate." Hebrews 13:12

Leprosy also had to be taken care of outside of the camp.

Yeshua carried cedar wood, blood is scarlet and was given hyssop on the cross.

The pure Yeshua was made blood-red (scarlet - towla the crimson worm) and taken outside the camp to be crucified:

First, the crimson worm climbs on the tree all by itself. Nobody forces it to get on the tree. It willingly searches out the kermes oak which is symbolic of destiny. Then by its own choice it climbs on the tree. Please understand that nobody forced Yeshua on the cross. What He did was of His own choice. He could have called all the angels of Heaven to release Him but He died alone for you and me. The crimson worm knows that when it climbs on the tree it will not come down alive. It is going on the tree to birth a family and to do that it must die. Yeshua knowing all things still was willing to die on the cross to redeem Israel - the family. Once on the tree, the crimson worm then attaches itself to the tree. It makes sure it is shelter for the young, which are born a new creation. Remember, spiritually it was not nails that held Him on the cross, it was love. He died of a broken heart. The worm will then lay its eggs and shelter them under her body.
During the birthing process, she secretes a crimson fluid or gel. The scarlet fluid covers her entire body and all eggs she lays. It also leaves a stain on the tree, which will never fade away with the passing of time!
After dying to birth the family, something amazing takes places. For a period of three days the worm can be scraped from the tree and the crimson gel can be used to make dye. That dye was the same dye which was used in the Tabernacle curtains and the High Priest garments.
On the morning of the forth day, the worm has pulled the head and tail together and is now in the shape of a heart on the tree but it is no longer crimson. It is now a wax, which is white as snow. They can still harvest the wax and use it to make shellac, a preservative of wood.

It changes topic and we see that YHWH wants to make a connection between the progress of the red heifer sacrifice and coming into contact with a corpse. Because all those that were involved with burning the heifer, carrying the ashes are all different people, who all started off as clean than would become unclean. This is the same process when coming into contact with a dead body.

The Northern House of Israel had defiled the sanctuary, they were no longer in covenant, they were cut off from amongst YHWH's people. Yeshua's death provided a way for the House of Israel to come and to be cleansed. The only way to cleanse a temple that has been defiled was with the ashes of red being mixed with living water and then sprinkled on that which needed to be cleansed. Yeshua was the red heifer sacrifice.
"25 Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Now will I bring back the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for my holy name. 26 They shall bear their shame, and all their trespasses by which they have trespassed against me, when they shall dwell securely in their land, and no one shall make them afraid; 27 when I have brought them back from the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations. 28 They shall know that I am Yahweh their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them to their own land; and I will leave none of them any more there; 29 neither will I hide my face any more from them; for I have poured out my Spirit on the house of Israel, says the Lord Yahweh." Ezekiel 39:25-29
We have to be cleansed before He can pour out His spirit upon us.

The imagery of the red heifer was entirely red which speaks of sin.
"Come now, and let us reason together,” says Yahweh:
“Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.
Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1:18

The language is interesting. In Hebrew, the red heifer is a parah adamah. The adjective "red" is highly suggestive by itself"

  • Red (Adom)
  • Ground, earth, dust (adumah)
  • Mankind (Adam)
  • Blood (dam)
Through these related words, we see how this all points back to Adam. Adam was formed from the ground (adamah). After his sin, it will be the blood (dam) that will purify mankind (adam).

The purifying on the third day is the Resurrection of Yeshua and the seventh day is His Millennial reign. They would not wash themselves with ordinary water from a tap when in contact with this sacrifice. They would take the ashes of the heifer and mix it with water that flowed into the pool of Siloam. It is the whole processes of the accepting of the blood of Yeshua, because after they would be baptised in the pool, people that wanted to go to the temple, had to wear a white robe.

The ashes of the red heifer were to be kept in the clean tomb for 3 days before they can be used and mixed with water. Water in the Scriptures is the spirit of God and how it cleanses people. At that moment, this substance must be applied to a human being that is unclean. All this happens right before Passover.

The Red Heifer sacrifice was created because of death. Because if you are connected or ever touched death in your life, you are unclean. It is not the death of a body that makes you unclean, it is the lack of life that is in the blood. You can be focused on the death of something, but really it lacks life. When you touch something that has no life or used to have life, it effects the life in you.

The 3rd day is the gospel and the salvation of Yeshua. Moses got the Torah on the 3rd Millennial. Yeshua comes on the 4th and on the 7th He returns.

Why is it seven days to be clean? It is because this red heifer sacrifice took place on Passover which goes for a whole week. The ceremony of cleansing was the seven days.

The power of the Red Heifer sacrifice is that is cleanses us from death.

If someone dies on our house or a possum or rat dies in the walls, YHWH says that objects that you use to eat from like bottles and bowls, if they are not covered with be effected. It might sound stupid to us but YHWH knows better and of we know that, we would listen to Him if what He says does not make too much sense to us. The same process of the seven cleanse applies here too.

If you are surrounded by unclean and sinful people in our life or in your house, then you are unclean as well. The spiritual connection with these people and what they do and say can cause you to stumble and not hear YHWH so clearly, when uncleanness is all around you. Folks, this is what is struggle with everyday. I have a family that is in ignorance with uncleanness in our house. which is keeping me out of congregation because until i reach an age to live at my own house, He will let me be cleansed and i could return into the camp i.e join a congregation that is like-minded and understands the whole scriptures.

Many times we buy things or go into hotels we need to pray over the objects because a lot of witches and occultist hex certain objects (especially occult objects like statues of angels and gods, dream-catchers, toys ) where a demonic being is attached to something we might bring home. If it is something that is hexed but it is not occultic, we can pray over them, but if something is clearly unclean and is very consider clean, we remove them.
If we are forced to be around people that are unclean, we MUST always pray for YHWH to protect us with His full armour. I am speaking to myself here too.

When you are unclean, you are producing distorted frequencies and when you transfer it onto something you touch or wear. It is like static electricity  So what if you touch a cursed object that you cannot feel the static electricity or see it? Last night before i wrote this, i felt overwhelmed and aggravated and frustrated in my spirit after i was doing research on let lines and cursed locations near my area like the southern cross ley lines in places like Macedon and demonic presence that cruses the landscape and natural formations this week. I believe certainly, i came into contact with very unclean things that has been effecting me this week, so i encourage you all, before very Shabbat, is to repent, take a shower, ask for Yah's protections and try and keep yourself in His Word and away from unclean things. Remember, if you try but i make a mistake, that okay, get back up and try again. There is grace. But do not abuse it.

All i can tell you that the spiritual realm is real and the war of our minds is real and as a young man, it is very tough. I go through the heat of it everyday. We are spiritual beings.

Covering the lids and "magic bands"?

Numbers 19:14-16

New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
14 This is the law when someone dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days. 15 And every open vessel with no cover fastened on it is unclean.16 Whoever in the open field touches one who has been killed by a sword, or who has died naturally, or a human bone, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

Ecclesiastes 12:6

New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
before the silver cord is snapped, and the golden bowl is broken, and the pitcher is broken at the fountain, and the wheel broken at the cistern,

Job 38:31

King James Version (KJV)
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

Ecclesiastes 13:20-21

New American Standard Bible (NASB)
19 For handfuls of barley and fragments of bread, you have profaned Me to My people to put to death some who should not die and to keep others alive who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies.
20
Therefore, thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am against your magic bands by which you hunt lives there as birds and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let them go, even those lives whom you hunt as
birds. 21 I will also tear off your veils and deliver My people from your hands, and they will no longer be in your hands to be hunted; and you will know that I am the Lord.

John 14:12

New American Standard Bible (NASB)
12 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Methe works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.

If we set up idols in our hearts and choose to live in transgression of His statues (chukat), judgements and commandments, then we defile the temple and it is no longer a fit dewelling place for the Ruach haKodesh. You are the temple of El Shaddai, the Almighty, YHWH Melek ha Olam.

Let us pray to Him that when we come before Him we will not be ashamed. We want to be looking forward to that day with great joy.

Our parsha happens 38 years later from 1439 BC, after Korach, all the way to 1401 BC. Now most of the first generation has died and the new generation is getting prepared at Mt Nebo at the plains of Moab across form Jericho.

Sages have divided the book of Numbers into two primary divisions. The first haft from Chapter 1 to 18 (B'midbarKorach) which narrates the first generation's disobedience. The second half from chapter 19 - 36 (Chukat - Massei), narrating the second generation as they approached the Promise Land.

Moses, Aaron and Miriam were the spiritual leaders of Israel from the beginning. Therefore we should expect that they would possibly be the last to die before reaching the Promise Land in 1400 BC. By 1401 BC, where we are at now, Miriam and Aaron leave us in chapter 20 and Moses still has one year left to live. In fact, Moses' death is hinted at in chapter 20:13 when YHWH stated that neither he nor Aaron would be allowed to bring Israel into the Promise Land. Therefore, thematically we can see that chapter 20 represents a huge transition! An entire generation has passed away and a new one has emerged.

From here, Israel moves from the land of Ishmael to his nephew Esau.

Miriam is connected to water. Since Miriam dies in chapter 20, it parallels when waters runs out and there is a crisis.

This story parallels B'Shallach in which at Rephidim that people complained about the lack of water and Moses strikes the rock at Horeb. In both instances:

  • There was no water for the people,
  • the people complained about having left Egypt,
  • YHWH intervenes with a solution,
  • Moses is commanded to take his staff and bring water from a rock (Yeshua - the Rock and the Living Waters.)
The second generation on the surface looks as if they want to go back to Egypt. But they are not. These people are longing for seeds and grapes and pomegranates and figs in which a description of the Promise Land of Canaan, not Egypt. They are complaining but they just want to get to Canaan.  They are desiring their inheritance! This is a good sign! They want it and have no through of the world (Egypt) because they were very young or not born yet when the first generation was in Egypt. They do not remember the filth of the world!

Unlike the first generation went they complain, YHWH is not angry with the complaints of the second. He speaks gently and lovingly unto them. They desire with all their hearts to go into the Land. They have become very impatient. YHWH understands their feelings and therefore commands that their needs be taken care of.

However, it is Aaron and Moses that are angry at the people and see them as rebels. However, they have just watched their sister die as well, so they were probably in an emotional mess.

Moses is being very condemnatory and hateful here. Why is he stumbling? It was this very moment that kept Moses and Aaron from entering into the Promise Land.
"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal." 1 Corinthians 13:1
For a moment, they got caught up in works and full of themselves. YHWH's instructions was to speak to the rock. Not smash it. Moses and Aaron, unlike the second generation, it is the leaders that sinned. It is a shame and a sad thing. Moses did not sanctify YHWH and paid the price. This is why it is so important to judge people saying that they are going to Hell if they are sinning. Only YHWH says that. We should NEVER play God.

By striking the rock a second time Moses unintentionally presents a distorted picture of Messiah being struck twice. Yeshua was only struck once for our iniquity - Moses ruined the picture of salvation.

Related imageThis is a sign, after 40 years of leading a million people, Moses was ready to retire. He seems a bit worn out at this point which is understandable. Because of this, YHWH constantly reminds Moses of his big mistake of not sanctifying Him at the waters before the eyes of the children of Israel.

At first the staff symbolises knowing the Almighty, It represents the defeat of Dudimose II and the striking of the very life source of Egypt being the Nile and the gods (the things that make up this secular world.) Apparently by commanding Moses to use this staff, YHWH wanted the demonstration of the water pouring from the rock in Exodus to link with the defeat of Dudimose and his world system. The first generation coming out of Egypt needed to understand redemption. This was accomplished through the symbolism of the first staff. Ultimately this staff was a picture that pointed to Yeshua, our Messiah, who was the Rock struck that brought about our salvation and the means through which we can know Him.

It is a picture of YHWH wanted Moses and Aaron to exemplify by using their voice to speak to the people. Notice the parallel that speaking is what would cause that people to see.
"Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink." Numbers 20:8
As Exodus 20:18 indicates:
"And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off."
The people requested that if Moses would speak it would result in them hearing (sh'ma). THIS WAS THE REASON FOR  THE INSTRUCTION YHWH GAVE MOSES in our parsha. If Moses would have spoken, he would have fulfilled Exodus 20:18 and given them an opportunity to hear the Word.

William Bullock Snr says this:
"Are we a generation who is eager to enter into the Promise Land? Do we find ourselves perched at the location of Kadesh (meaning holy)? Have we lost the slave mentality of Egypt? Do we trust that the Holy One of Israel is actuality preparing us to take us into the land? Do we complain every time we feel our needs are not being provided for?"

Around 300 years ago around in 1700 BC, Issac blesses his two sons Jacob and Esau. Many generations later the descendants of the two brothers are about to face each other again for the first time. At this confrontation, there is a shift in person. From the plural, "we", "us" "thou" to the singular "i" and "thee". It is about to get personal, like brothers meeting each other. It is the flesh vs the spirit.
"And Edom said unto him, Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out against thee with the sword." Numbers 20:18
The personalities of Jacob and Esau's descendants have emerged in their descendants. This also still goes on today.

Rather than wage war with their brother Edom, Israel had been told by YHWH to not fight and withdraw and go south and take the long way home.

Dose deception also come back on Israel in the Tribulation (time of Jacob's trouble)? Dose Esau (Zionism) dress up as Jacob (Israel) in order to steal the firstborn birthright, in which Jacob took with deceit the first time.

This is the symbol of the Rothschild family. Is this telling us about the Synagogue of Satan spoken about in Revelation? Is then the spiritual Esau part of this then?

1925 - This years Jewish Encyclopaedia, states of the existence of AshkeNAZI Jews (who represent approximately 90% of so called Jewry), with the startling admission that so called enemy of the Jews, Esau (also known as Edom), is now actuality representing the Jewish race. Edom is in modern Jewry.

Just when Yeshua came in the 1st Century, Israel was controlled by an Edomite named King Herod who owned his power to Rome. he hated Jews but was great at playing the Jewish role when it benefited them. Also in power at the same time was a corrupted priesthood put in place by Rome. They promoted a false religion and rejected Yeshua and put to death His followers. This will be the exact same at Yeshua's second coming. The real priesthood was from John the Baptist giving it to Yeshua.

The positions of who will serve the other will change with Jacob and Esau. Edom will rule over Jacob until all the 12 tribes return in the Greater Exodus. When we go int the land, Numbers 20 will be repeated on a grander scale.

Aaron was still alive when YHWH said that he was going to die and that the Red Heifer sacrifice will be attributed to Eleazar, which probably made Aaron curious and perhaps concerned. He died at 123 years old. This must have been very emotionally charged because Moses had just lost his sister too.
"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope." 1 Thessalonians 4:13

Let us not do this...
As long as YHWH fed and took care of the first generation at Sinai they were happy. But they hated invading and warfare. They did not seem to have a problem when Amalek and his giant Hyksos came to fight them. But when they needed to journey towards Israel to fight and struggle against giants, they wanted to return to Egypt. However, the root issue was not that they feared war. The root issue was that they did not trust YHWH's faithfulness to cause their enemies to flee before them as they went into battle.

Compared to the second generation, for 38 years they had wandered around the floor of the desert called Paran and they never had to deal with any invading hostilities from the outside world. After all, people going nowhere and doing nothing amongst the cliffs of Petra do not tend to stir up too much animosity. Indeed, to the rest of the world world they seemed pretty irrelevant.

Now the good stuff. The Nephilim king Arad. Here is some interesting information from Gary Wayne's book Gensis 6 Conspiracy.
After Israel departed Kadesh and the water from the rock miracle at Meribah, Israel began their commission to take the Covenant Land from giants, on the 1st day of the 5th month of the 40th year.
“And with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.” Numbers 20:11 & 13
Israel originally planned to march along the sea-coast [likely Dead Sea] of Edom; then north. Thus Moses sent messengers to Edom petitioning for safe passage.
“And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us. And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom” Numbers 20:14 & 23
Israel planned to march directly through lands free from giants, to address Amorites east of the Jordan, ruled by Sihon and Og, and also the Midians. Parts of Edom were free from giants. Horim still lived in Seir, but some Edomites with the help of God previously drove out Horim, as God did for Ammon and Moab.
“The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims. The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead” Deuteronomy 2:10-12
Edom, however, refused to let Israel pass through their land. Because of this, Israel marched from Kadesh to Mount Hor towards Canaan again, where Aaron died. God proclaimed Aaron would die before entering the Covenant Land because of his insubordination at Meribah.
“Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him. And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor. And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom. And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying, Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.” Numbers 20:21-24
Moses appointed Aaron’s son, Eleazor successor to lead the priesthood, whereby Israel mourned Aaron’s death for 30 days before leaving Mount Hor.
“And Moses did as the LORD commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation. And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount. And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.” Numbers 20 27-29
Israel returned to the region their spies explored 40 years previous, which begat the “evil report” saying God could not protect them from the giant nations. Israel marched to “the way of the spies”: the way: road: “h1869 Derek” of spies: “h871 Athariym”, where they are met by Canaanite hybrid giants led by King Arad. King Arad marched out with his powerful hybrid army to fight Israel. King Arad seemingly got the better of Israel and taking prisoners in the first battle.
“And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.” Numbers 21:1
Arad, according to Unger’s Bible Dictionary, was a southern Canaanite city in the Negev. Arad, “h6166” meaning fugitive was a “royal” Canaanite city [of the greater Canaanite alliance] located in the north end of the wilderness. The Negev included Kadesh and Beersheba. The Negev is the “south” country of Canaan recorded in Gen 20 and elsewhere. South derives from “h5045 Negeb. The Negev was the region Abram made his home, and included Shur, home of the Amalaqim Israel defeated in “Battle at Rephidim” 40 years previous.
“And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.” Genesis 20:1
“And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.” Genesis 12:9
“Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD.” Genesis 13:18
Hebron, Kiriatharba, the city of Arba of the Anak in Negev between Kadesh and Shur was the same place Sarah, Abraham, and Isaac were buried, all-the-while surrounded by the giants Israel was commissioned to drive out.
“And Sarah died in Kirjatharba; the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan…” Genesis 23:2
And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre: the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan.” Genesis 23:19
“And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre” Genesis 25:9
“And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arbah, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned. And the days of Isaac were a hundred and fourscore years. And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.” Genesis 35:27-29
Arad city was located very close to Hebron, Kiriatharba, positioned just 17 to 20 miles south of Hebron, which would later all become Judah’s territory. Arad dates back to 2900–3200 BC, (antediluvian) is now known as Tell Arad. Similarly, Kiriatharba also dates back 1800 BC and beyond being built before Zoan/Tanis in Egypt and as recorded in the “Year 400 Stela” dated to 1400 BC. Lous Ginzberg noted Sihon’s original name in legend was Arad, a name describing Sihon’s amazing dexterity and quickness. One wonders whether or not Arad conceals that Sihon was a fugitive (before or after the flood) from Arad. Is this why Israel marches next through Ammon and Moab to battle with Sihon, and why Arad was considered royal Canaanite city?
“And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)” Numbers 13:22
Both Arad and Hebron were Nephilim cities, likely before and after the flood. Kiriatharba was named after Arba, its founder and patriarch for Anakim giants.
“And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arbah, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned.” Genesis 35:27
“And the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims.” Joshua 14:15
“And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.” Joshua 15:13
Anak, “h6061 Anaq” means: [long] necked; a tribe of giants in Canaan. Anakim, “h6062 Anaqiy”: long-necked Canaanite tribe of giants is rooted in “h6061 Anaq”.
“And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were…” Number 13:22
“Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.” Numbers 13:28
“The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; Deut 2:11 Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims” Deuteronomy 2:10
After the King of Arad’s army roughed up Israel, they recommit their faith in God for military success, vowing to destroy Canaanite cities Arad reigned over.
“And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities. And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.” Numbers 21:2-3
God delivered the hybrid giant Canaanites of Arad for slaughter into the hands of Israel, whereby Israel destroyed their cities, naming the place of the battle, Hormah, “h2767 Chormah” meaning devotion (to God). Israel does not stay in the Covenant Land. Their faith in God was not yet fully forged. God knows this. Israel departed Mount Hor to travel around Edom and then north through Moab, and Ammon. God’s decision discouraged many still weak in faith.
“And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.” Numbers 21:4
Discouragement leads to murmuring against God once more, which leads to the famous fiery serpent incident at Oboth, causing many in Israel to be killed.
“And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.” Numbers 21:5-6
After the fiery serpent incident, Israel marched from Oboth to Ijeabarim in the wilderness before Moab, enroute to battle King Sihon of the Amorites.
“And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth. And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ijeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising.” Numbers 21:9-11
Even though Israel slaughtered King Arad, the Anakim with him, and his hybrid Canaanite army, the Anakim were not driven out of the land. Anakim and hybrid Canaanites remained until the reign of the Judges. Caleb was awarded the Kiriatharba and Arad regions by Joshua, at the end of the conquest. This area still overflowed with Anakin giants and giant hybrids. Caleb drove out Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, but did not slay them.
“And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance. Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day” Joshua 14:13-14
“And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron. And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.” Joshua 15:13-14
The 3 infamous giants returned to Kiriatharba again after Caleb, but were finally slain by the warriors of Judah early on during the age of the Judges.
“And Judah went against the Canaanites that dwelt in Hebron: (now the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba:) and they slew Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai.” Judges 1:10
The descendants of Caleb the Kenite continued the fight against the Canaanite hybrids in the Negev region, which included Kiriatharba, Arad, Zephath and Hormah.
“And the children of the Kenite, Moses’ father in law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people. And Judah went with Simeon his brother, and they slew the Canaanites that inhabited Zephath, and utterly destroyed it. And the name of the city was called Hormah.” Judges 1:16-17
Talmai’s name continued as a title/name for kings amongst the Geshurites, as Agag did for the Amaleqim, and in the same spirit as a Hadad, Pharoah, and Caesar.
“And his second, Chileab, of Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite; and the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur” 2 Samuel 3:3
“But Absalom fled, and went to Talmai, the son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David mourned for his son every day.” 2 Samuel 13:37
“The third, Absalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur: the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith” 1 Chronicles 3:2
The Talmai heraldy and trans-generational war between Nephilim and Israel resurfaced with David’s 3rd son Absalom, son of Maacah, daughter of Talmai of Geshur; a trans-generational war later reflected with Haman the Agagite. Absalom slew David’s 1st son, Ammon, for raping his sister Tamar seemingly as part of his plan to usurp power. He then flees to Geshur under Talmai’s protection.
“Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you?” 2 Samuel 13:28
“But Absalom fled, and went to Talmai, the son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David mourned for his son every day. 2Sam 13:38 So Absalom fled, and went to Geshur, and was there three years.” 2 Samuel 13:37
Absalom returns to Israel 3 years later. He then asks permission, using a cover story, to travel to Hebron/Kiriatharba, city of Talmai in Moses’s time, to fulfil a vow he made in Geshur to worship God in Hebron, if David permitted his return.
“And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron. For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD. And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.” 2 Samuel 15:7-9
While in Kiriatharba, the ancient home of Talami and the Anak, Absalom declares his rebellion and himself as king reigning from Kiriatharba, which almost succeeded.
“But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron. 2 Samuel 15:10
And there came a messenger to David, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom. And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.” 2 Samuel 15:13-14
Absalom though, is slain, ending the Nephilim sponsored rebellion planned in Geshur. He is finished off by Joab and his attendants after being hung up in a tree.
“And Absalom rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the oak” 2 Samuel 18:9
“Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak. And ten young men that bare Joab’s armour compassed about and smote Absalom, and slew him.” 2 Samuel 18:14-15
Caleb VS King Og

Geshurites were yet another giant hybrid nation. They were documented living along side the Philistines, and thus Avvim, in Joshua, and amongst the Gezrites and Amalekim in Shur. Geshurites were list with Amalakim and the Gerzites as the old inhabitants of Shur. Old derives from “h5769 Owlam” meaning: time out of mind, eternity, ancient, and beginning of the world. Geshurites were seemingly another Rephaim/Nephilim tribe created before or after the flood in Shur, which is part of their name.
“And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.” 1 Samuel 27:8
Geshurites, additionally dwelled in Bashan where Mount Hermon, Rephaim, and King Og lived, along with the Maachathites, noting Geshurites and Maachathites survived to live amongst the Israelites. Geshurite/Geshuri derives from “h1651 Gshuwriy”: inhabitants of Geshur,” and is rooted in “h1650 Gshuwr”: “proud beholder”, just as Nephilim were proud. Girzites, “h1511 Gizriy” meaning a piece, cut off and rooted in “h1511 Gizriy”: portion, were also listed in the Shur with Geshurites and both are unaccounted for in the Table of Nations in Gen 10 and 1 Chron.
“Jair the son of Manasseh took all the country of Argob unto the coasts of Geshuri and Maachathi; and called them after his own name, Bashanhavothjair, unto this day.” Deuteronomy 3:14
“And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.” Joshua 12:5
And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon; And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah; All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out. Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day. Joshua 13:10-13
Notice the response of the generation of the return is not to go rush off to war in a furor. Their first response is not to seek a political consensus. Their first response is not even to go to Moses and seek consul. Their first response is the best and the only one we should be using in situations as this: they were beseeching YHWH.

That's what i am talking about! Jesus/Yeshua is fighting for Israel now! A whole army of giants were slaughtered by regular Israelites. Are you ready to fight what is coming?
"Adonai listened to Israel’s plea and delivered up the Canaanites. They put them and their cities under the ban of destruction. So the name of the place was called Hormah (shut up)." Numbers 21:3
As you see, the second generation are not afraid of the massive giants. They were ready because they longed for Canaan, never knew Egypt and were determined to fight for the Kingdom and defeat the physical seed corruption of Satan bring ultimate glory to YHWH.

Do you realises that if Edom had allowed Israel to pass through their land they would have been in in Canaan? They were that close! After forty years their goal was in sight, only to have their hopes shattered when Edom refused to give them passage. By going around Edom, meant they had to go back into the desert where they came from and retrace their steps. You could imagine the disappointment after such a victory.

Moses' mistake will come at a big price, because next, Israel is attacked by flying serpents soon after his sin. Moses at that point probably recognised the severity of his mistake. People who are leaders, will be judged more harshly because they have a bigger responsibility.

The gripe of this second generation looks nearly the same as the complaint of their fathers. They wanted to go back to Egypt this time because they suspected it was better for their fathers. But little did their realise what they were complaining about was made against the Bread. The divine manna from heaven! Yeshua compared Himself to this bread and their rejection of it brought about serpents with wings! They were going so well! Do not ever take your eyes off Yeshua! He is obliviously on every page of Scripture!

became the protector of the pharaonic power.

Seraphim are described as serpents. Satan i believe was a seraphim.

Cryptids like the Namibian Flying Snake is an odd gargantuan serpent that is possibly derived from African legends of dragons.

Quetzalcoatl ("feathered serpent" or "plumed serpent") is the Nahuatl name for the Feathered-Serpent deity of ancient Mesoamerican culture. In Mesoamerican myth Quetzalcoatl is also a mythical culture hero from whom almost all mesoamerican peoples claim descent.
Chinese dragons are mistaken as good entities that bring good luck. "7 There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war. 8 They didn’t prevail, neither was a place found for him any more in heaven. 9 The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him." Revelation 12: 7 -9

The Saraph, the Cobra, and the Uraeus
The saraph should be understood as a type of venomous desert snake that some texts describe as flying, but can we narrow it down further?
The Hebrew name for this (flying) venomous serpent of the desert is saraph, i.e., “the burning one.” In Egypt, the cobra was often referred to as “the flaming one,”[13] an image of which, called a uraeus, was worn by the Pharaoh. Thus, saraph may be the Hebrew term for cobra.

Black Necked Spitting Cobra (Naja nigricollis)
Othmar Keel and Karl Uehlinger identify the uraeus cobra as “the black-necked cobra (Naja nigricollis), which applies its poison both by biting and spitting.”[14] These cobras do not fly, but swing through trees and attack from the air. Such an attack could easily be imagined or depicted as flying.[15] Moreover, these snakes are often yellowish-copper in color, which would fit with the image of a copper serpent depicted in Numbers 21.
Nevertheless, it is problematic to identify the flying serpents of the desert in Isaiah, Esarhaddon, and Herodotus with this species. Naja nigricollis is primarily a sub-Saharan species; they would not be in Egypt, let alone in the Sinai or Arabian peninsulas. Furthermore, they only “fly” when living in trees and attacking from above, but the desert does not have trees.
Reimagining Local Cobras
Saraph is likely not a specific species, but refers to cobras in general. By definition, no species of desert cobra “flies,” since “flying” requires trees, but it is possible that legend overlaid the local desert cobras with the imperfectly understood characteristics of flying cobras, based on a vague knowledge these authors had of “flying” cobras in distant lands.[16]
A number of cobra (or cobra-like) species of venomous snake inhabit Egypt and the Levant:
  • The Egyptian cobra (Naja haje) is a very large species that transmits its deadly venom by biting (not spitting) and is found in many colors, including reddish-copper. It is not a desert snake, however.
  • The Arabian cobra (Naja arabica) inhabits the Arabian Peninsula, among other places, and is closely related to the Egyptian cobra.
  • The desert black snake (Walterinnesia aegyptia), popularly known as the Sinai Desert cobra or the black desert cobra, is a venomous serpent inhabiting the Sinai desert. It is not an actual cobra, but looks very much like one.

The above is a possible explanation for the origin of the flying desert cobra legend, but Egyptian iconography presents us with another, perhaps more plausible one.
Flying Serpents and the Winged Uraeus

As noted above, the pharaoh’s uraeus was a cobra, which we have identified as the saraph. This same uraeus was often depicted in Egyptian iconography as a (two- or four-)winged serpent called the winged uraeus, whose wings symbolize protection. This was a popular iconographic motif throughout not only Egypt, but also Syria/Palestine going back to the Late Bronze Age. This same Egyptian winged-uraeus image became popular in late 8th century Judah during the reign of King Hezekiah and appears on numerous seals during this period.[17]
It seems quite possible that travelers familiar both with the Egyptian imagery of flying serpents and knowledge that the desert is filled with venomous snakes, imagined flying serpents in the desert. As Othmar Keel points out, humans encounter the desert with something of an air of mystery, a place filled with all kinds of danger, exemplified by exotic and mysterious flora and fauna.[18]
Postscript: Danger and Healing
The various depictions of the dangers of the desert found in Deuteronomy, Isaiah, Esarhaddon, and Herodotus, all convey the dread that travelers felt about encountering these darting, “burning,” venomous cobras while travelling in the desert regions of Egypt, the Sinai, or Arabia. In the form of a uraeus, the cobra was chosen to be the patron of the Pharaoh, communicating both his dangerous power as well as the idea that he was under the protection of the cobra goddess, Wadjet.[19]

In the story in Numbers, the saraph has a similar dual function. The serpents themselves effect God’s wrath by biting and poisoning the Israelites. At the same time, the image of the copper serpent conveys God’s healing power. Thus, in Egyptian iconography as well as in the biblical account in Numbers, the cobra is both a giver and protector of life—an image of healing, but also a dangerous and destructive creature.

Let this be a warning to us to not deny Yeshua. This is probably one of the heinous judgements given to Israel for blasphemy.

Despite their rebellion though, they recognised their sins and instantly came on their knees, knowing the power of repentance.

When Moses sets up a serpent on a stick for healing instantly reminds me of the caduceus and Alcehucs's staff of Greek mythology for some reason. It also kill people when they look at it which also reminded me of the story of Medusa who has snakes as hair that one will die when looking at her. However, it has an opposite effect here. People were healed form the venom. YHWH can do whatever He likes it seems, even if it to mock the authenticity of the Greek gods.

The Book of YHWH’s Battles
The song here is not simply presented as part of the text, but the Torah explicitly notes that it is quoting from an ancient written source for the song. (The term ספר, which we ordinarily translate as “book,” denotes any document set down in writing.)[5] What was this book?
Abraham Ibn Ezra (1089-1167) in his commentary (ad loc.) suggested that the reference is to an ancient and now lost written source describing the various battles fought by the Israelites against their enemies.[6] R. Joseph Bechor Shor (12th cent.) and Ralbag (R. Levi ben Gershom, 1288-1344) offer the same understanding. That this document is a collection of war and victory songs in which the deity is the hero is also shared by modern scholars such as Jacob Milgrom and Yitzhak Avishur in their Olam HaTanach commentary (ad loc.), and Philip Budd in his Word Bible Commentary (ad loc.).[7]
Don’t Judge a Book by Its Title
The reasoning underlying this assumption is based on the title of the book, YHWH’s Battles. But ancient books did not generally use titles in this fashion, i.e., as summary statements of the book’s contents. For example, the standard Hebrew title of biblical books is generally one of the first words in the book. The Hebrew name for the book of Numbers, for instance, isBemidbar, “In the Wilderness;”[8] this hardly sums up this very complex book which includes lists, laws, narratives, and, yes, songs. The same is true of Akkadian works, which were generally referred to by the opening words of the tablet. Some famous examples are the Babylonian creation myth known as Enuma Elish (“When on High”) and the Gilgamesh Epic, which was known as “He who saw the source/saw it all.”

Thus, the most likely reason that the book is called YHWH’s Battles is because the first or most prominent poem in the book was called “YHWH’s Battles.” What then was the nature of this book? Unfortunately, once we stop assuming that the title tells us the nature of its contents, we have very little to go on.

The victory over the giant Amorites definitely shows the second generations' determination and faith. They were fearless, YHWH is stronger than giants.

Og means gigantic. He was the half brother of Sihon and he was 15 feet tall. It might have been bit scary. However, YHWH empowered them. "Adonai said to Moses, “Do not fear him. I have given him with all his people and his land into your hand. You are to do to him just as you did to Sihon, the Amorite king who was living in Heshbon. So they struck him and his sons and his entire army until no survivor was left to him, and they possessed his land." Numbers 21:34-35
They were Nephilim - the corrupted genetics had to be wiped out for the survival of mankind.

When YHWH is with you, you will achieve achieve great things. FEAR NOT!

May YHWH help us to be a people that trust YHWH, a people desperate to run to the Promise Land and not back to Egypt. A people that wholly follow Him and trust in Him for our salvation. A people that are not afraid of struggle, a people so desperate to take hold of all that YHWH has in store, that they hear Him when He has - FEAR NOT!

"Psalm 91 Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Dwell in the Shelter of Elyon
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of Elyon,
will abide in the shadow of Shaddai.
2 I will say of Adonai,
“He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.
3 For He will rescue you from the hunter’s trap
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with His feathers,
and under His wings you will find refuge.
His faithfulness is body armor and shield.
5 You will not fear the terror by night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the plague that stalks in darkness,
nor the destruction that lays waste at noon.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
and ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look on with your eyes
and see the wicked paid back.
9 For you have made Elyon your dwelling,
even Adonai, who is my refuge,
10 so no evil will befall you
nor any plague come near your tent.
11 For He will give His angels charge over you,
to guard you in all your ways.
12 Upon their hands they will lift you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.[a]
13 You will tread upon the lion and cobra,
trample the young lion and serpent.

14 “Because he has devoted his love to Me,
    I will deliver him.
I will set him securely on high,
    because he knows My Name.
15 When he calls on Me, I will answer him.
I will be with him in trouble, rescue him, and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him My salvation.”

PROPHETS AND NEW TESTAMENT

Jephthah's life is ours. He was a nobody - son of a harlot in fact. He was rejected by his family as went through many hardships. They knew that Jephthah was a man of faith. But as soon as hardship came and the giants of Ammon invaded, the people called back Jephthah to be the captain.

The children of Ammon wanted revenge of being annihilated and humiliated by Israel in 1401 BC.

"Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to possess? So whomsoever the Lord our God shall drive out from before us, them will we possess." Judges 11:24
The symbol of Chemosh is the star of "David" which the main logo for the Edmoites ruling Israel - the Great Harlot today.

YHWH chooses where He will dwell.
"Thus says Adonai:
“Heaven is My throne,
and the earth is My footstool.
Where then is the House you would build for Me?
Where is the place of My rest?" Isaiah 66:1
If YHWH chooses us, and calls us His temple, then is that not a reason for us in the light of this fact to strive with all our might to remain undefiled.

Isaiah 66 is talking about a Millennial context and not 1948 as many do. 1948 is Edom's rule over Israel and there is nothing but peace as this chapter describes.

What is “Enviropig™”?

Enviropig™ is the trademarked industry name[i] for a pig that has been genetically engineered to excrete less phosphorous in its feces. Enviropig™ was developed by researchers at the University of Guelph in Ontario and could soon be the first genetically modified (GM) (also called genetically engineered or GE) food animal on the market.[ii]
The goal of the GM Enviropig™ is to provide intensive livestock operations (factory farms) with a product to reduce the amount of polluting phosphorous they produce. Phosphorous from animal manure is a nutrient for plants that becomes a pollutant if there is too much of it for crops to absorb, and the excess runs off into streams and lakes. Researchers claim that the feces from Enviropig™ could contain 30 to 70.7% less phosphorus.[iii]

Enviropig™ is genetically engineered to produce the enzyme phytase in its salivary glands to enable more effective digestion of phytate, the from of phosphorus found in pig feed ingredients like corn and soybeans. Scientists inserted a transgene sequence that includes an E-coli bacteria phytase gene and a mouse promoter gene sequence.

The Hebrew word pole - nec, can also mean miracle. The pole is like the cross, and those that come before Yeshua and have their ransom paid, will  have healing from being bitten from the serpent.
"Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that whoever believes in Him may have eternal life! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:14-18

From Torah Portion Chayei Sarah about wells: The well is symbolic of the well of living waters. The Holy Spirit calls out and draws the people out of the well of salvation. The well is the point where the end is and we get worried. We have to always pray to YHVH to send someone to help. Eliezer at the well, symbolically  represents the point in our walks where something dose not go as planned to our flesh. We panic and get nervous and worry. We must pray to get guidance and help from YHVH. This is why He sent His son because we can't do it. We are not meant to do it. We are meant to create a footstep when we make an oath. YHVH is the one that can do it, by falling on our knees. The well in Hebrew is an Ayin, that is in a shape of an eye. The eye to see ourselves in the water. The Word is Living Water which we must study and look at closely. Like the soldiers in Gideon's army, when they lay down and lapped water. By doing this, spiritually we are meant to see ourselves closely, and by cupping the water, we ripple the water, distorting our ability to see clearly into His Word. It is all about perspective (ayin, the living waters, Yeshua which we will never thirst.)  Study the Word to show yourself approved  and rightly dividing.

Shalom
