TORAH
We are to be doers of the word and not hears only. We need to Haazinu (give ear).
"Ezekiel 33:30-33 World English Bible (WEB)
30 “As for you, son of man, the children of your people talk about you by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak to one another, everyone to his brother, saying, ‘Please come and hear what the word is that comes out from Yahweh.’ 31 They come to you as the people come, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but don’t do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their gain. 32 Behold, you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they don’t do them.
33 “When this comes to pass—behold, it comes—then they will know that a prophet has been among them.”
The song of Moses is meant to be a reminder to be a wittiness against the people because YHWH has told ahead of time of what happens if they hear the Word and not do it. Make no mistake, Yeshua is also a witness to all this as well. Not only that, the earth and the heavens are also witnesses.
"Jeremiah 6:19 World English Bible (WEB)
19 Hear, earth! Behold, I will bring evil on this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it."
If you do most of the law and reject one part of it willingly, then you reject the whole thing.
Repentance begins by recognising our sins. Then we need to check our self to see if we really love YHWH with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our strength and love our neighbour as ourselves. Following YHWH's commandments to the best of our ability should be our number one priority because we have decided that we will want to do it. We cannot pretend and say that we follow Him and do most of what He says, we must submit to Him and do what He says. If we want to circumcise our hearts willingly, we must be able to submit to YHWH's will fully.

"Deuteronomy 32:2 World English Bible (WEB)
2 My doctrine will drop as the rain.
My speech will condense as the dew,
as the misty rain on the tender grass,
as the showers on the herb."
YHWH's words are always described as water that refreshes.
"1 Corinthians 3:4-8 World English Bible (WEB)
4 For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly? 5 Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave to him? 6 I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor."
Doctrine is not from us. The truth is from YHWH because He is the one that brings the increase.
"Deuteronomy 32:4 World English Bible (WEB)
4 The Rock (Yeshua): his work is perfect,
for all his ways are just.
A God of faithfulness who does no wrong,
just and right is he."
In doing this, what Jesus did was proclaim the name of God YHWH and ascribed His greatness by being a witness for YHWH and against the people. John 17:4 tells us how He accomplished it.
"John 17:4 World English Bible (WEB)
4 I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do."
Just like in verses 5 to 6, Paul is saying that we are not be to blemished and continually rebel against God while calling ourselves the 'children of God.'
"Philippians 2:14-16 World English Bible (WEB)
14 Do all things without complaining and arguing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world, 16 holding up the word of life, that I may have something to boast in the day of Christ, that I didn’t run in vain nor labor in vain."
We cannot be labouring in vain by doing work for God not reckoning that the whole time we have been disobeying His rules, is a nightmare for me and should be for us. Let us not live a lie.
"Job 23:11-12 World English Bible (WEB)
11 My foot has held fast to his steps.
I have kept his way, and not turned away.
12 I haven’t gone back from the commandment of his lips.
I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food."
"Deuteronomy 32:10 World English Bible (WEB)
10 He found him in a desert land,
in the waste howling wilderness.
He surrounded him.
He cared for him.
He kept him as the apple of his eye."
YHWH will be keeping us safe in the End Times. There is no rapture, but something greater. YHWH will be taking us out of the world into the wilderness and protecting us.
"Deuteronomy 32:15 World English Bible (WEB)
15 But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked.
You have grown fat.
You have grown thick.
You have become sleek.
Then he abandoned God who made him,
and rejected the Rock of his salvation."
So, for those that say they only follow Jesus, then they are not following Jesus. Because, if they do not hear what God has to say, they are submitting to mendacity.
"Deuteronomy 32:28 World English Bible (WEB)
28 For they are a nation void of counsel.
There is no understanding in them."
This is our world that we live in. Supposedly Christian, but extremely futile and filthy. They do not discern the latter end. They live in sin without even knowing it and hate reading God's word to know the consequences of their deeds.
"Deuteronomy 32:29-30 World English Bible (WEB)
29 Oh that they were wise, that they understood this,
that they would consider their latter end!
30 How could one chase a thousand,
and two put ten thousand to flight,
unless their Rock had sold them,
and Yahweh had delivered them up?"
Do you read the Word of God and see that your latter end is bad and you are willing to change your ways? I pray to God that is the truth.
"Deuteronomy 32:31-33 World English Bible (WEB)
31 For their rock is not as our Rock,
even our enemies themselves concede.
32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom,
of the fields of Gomorrah.
Their grapes are poison grapes.
Their clusters are bitter.
33 Their wine is the poison of serpents,
the cruel venom of asps."
Alcoholic wine is a motif that is related to false doctrine.
"Proverbs 1:22-33 World English Bible (WEB)
22 “How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity?
How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery,
and fools hate knowledge?
23 Turn at my reproof.
Behold,[a] I will pour out my spirit on you.
I will make known my words to you.
24 Because I have called, and you have refused;
I have stretched out my hand, and no one has paid attention;
25 but you have ignored all my counsel,
and wanted none of my reproof;
26 I also will laugh at your disaster.
I will mock when calamity overtakes you,
27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when your disaster comes on like a whirlwind,
when distress and anguish come on you.
28 Then they will call on me, but I will not answer.
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me,
29 because they hated knowledge,
and didn’t choose the fear of Yahweh.
30 They wanted none of my counsel.
They despised all my reproof.
31 Therefore they will eat of the fruit of their own way,
and be filled with their own schemes.
32 For the backsliding of the simple will kill them.
The careless ease of fools will destroy them.
33 But whoever listens to me will dwell securely,
and will be at ease, without fear of harm.”
Do not deceive yourself.
"Deuteronomy 32:44 World English Bible (WEB)
44 Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he and Joshua the son of Nun."
Since Joshua - the prophetic embodiment of the lamb of God is present to sing the song with Moses, could it be that the Song of Moses is the Song of the Lamb?
The Song of Moses is sung in the end days in Revelation 15:
"3 They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,
“Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty!
Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.
4 Who wouldn’t fear you, Lord,
and glorify your name?
For you only are holy.
For all the nations will come and worship before you.
For your righteous acts have been revealed.”
With the subtext from last week, the singing of the song means that Israel has remembered YHWH and are returning to His ways - the joining of the two sticks.
There is also a second song of Moses in Exodus which is one of great energy and jovial praise after the destruction of Dudimose's armies.
"Exodus 15 World English Bible (WEB)
15 Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to Yahweh, and said,
“I will sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously.
He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.
2 Yah is my strength and song.
He has become my salvation.
This is my God, and I will praise him;
my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3 Yahweh is a man of war.
Yahweh is his name.
4 He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea.
His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea.
5 The deeps cover them.
They went down into the depths like a stone.
6 Your right hand, Yahweh, is glorious in power.
Your right hand, Yahweh, dashes the enemy in pieces.
7 In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you.
You send out your wrath. It consumes them as stubble.
8 With the blast of your nostrils, the waters were piled up.
The floods stood upright as a heap.
The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.
9 The enemy said, ‘I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the plunder.
My desire will be satisfied on them.
I will draw my sword. My hand will destroy them.’
10 You blew with your wind.
The sea covered them.
They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
11 Who is like you, Yahweh, among the gods?
Who is like you, glorious in holiness,
fearful in praises, doing wonders?
12 You stretched out your right hand.
The earth swallowed them.
13 “You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed.
You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.
14 The peoples have heard.
They tremble.
Pangs have taken hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.
15 Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed.
Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab.
All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.
16 Terror and dread falls on them.
By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone,
until your people pass over, Yahweh,
until the people you have purchased pass over.
17 You will bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance,
the place, Yahweh, which you have made for yourself to dwell in;
the sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have established.
18 Yahweh will reign forever and ever.”
Notice this is completely different from this weeks portion and the segment given in Revelation. So are there three songs then?
This song of Moses is not a happy song. It is the voice of YHWH grieving over His child. Moses too for his whole life has tried to get Israel to follow YHWH, and yet, they gets the information that he will not survive to go in the land and Israel will in the future break away from God. Joshua is probably crying to as Moses would have been a father figure passing away.
PROPHETS AND NEW TESTAMENT
2 Samuel 22 obviously is a song like in Deuteronomy and has similar language like the use of the lexis - Rock. It also has similarities to Psalm 91:
"Psalm 91 World English Bible (WEB)
91 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.”
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler,
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers.
Under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
and ten thousand at your right hand;
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes,
and see the recompense of the wicked.
9 Because you have made Yahweh your refuge,
and the Most High your dwelling place,
10 no evil shall happen to you,
neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
11 For he will put his angels in charge of you,
to guard you in all your ways.
12 They will bear you up in their hands,
so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and cobra.
You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.
14 “Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him.
I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him.
I will be with him in trouble.
I will deliver him, and honor him.
16 I will satisfy him with long life,
and show him my salvation.”
The words in Greek for when Yeshua said "Peter do you love me?", the first and second time is "Peter do you agape me?" Agape is a godly unconditional love. But in these first three instances, Peter answers "i philiao you" - philia is brotherly love and care. The third time Yeshua says it, He says "do you philiao me" it grieves Peter because God had come down from agape love to philia love because Peter could not go from philia to agape love yet. So God comes to our level where we are at in our wretched states and will build us up. Remember, Peter, was humiliated and felt shameful when Yeshua appeared to Thomas. Peter wanted to abandon following Yeshua. And yet, He gave Him His staff of authority to lead just as Moses did with Joshua to lead the restoration of Israel. This is Peter's Deuteronomy 32:10 moment. Peter became Yeshua's most prised possession.
