TORAH
Story of Joseph always coincides with Hanukkah.
The language of verse 2 is the genealogies of Jacob and Joseph is first mentioned. He is instantly the second son and is instantly mentioned. This highlights Joseph's importance so the reader can know this portion will appeal to him.

Root word coat in Hebrew means "the palm to the hand and foot" Long coat with sleeves reaches hand and feet. Nail, hand and foot,) Jesus Christ foreshadowed 2000 years before.
Culture of coloured coat (royalty and wealth in Israel. Upper class. Colour and vibrance gives status in Israel.
Every patriarch wore a long robe as a symbol of authority.
The counterfeit to Joseph's garment is the Golden Fleece of Nimrod.
Why is Joseph at his prime (17) and not working like his older brothers? Anyone who had vibrant robes had respect and did not have to do as much work. Jacob gives Joseph his robe of authority. This is why his brothers hated him, it was because of the fact he was the favoured child, had the trendy and nice-looking fashion and did not work. The older brothers were jealous that the younger is more powerful and did do anything to receive it.
Joseph is the father of Ephraim, how will become the Northern Kingdom and a multitude of Nations. This coat is a representation of the nations and Israel scattered all over the earth. Coat of many colours/races and ethnicities.
When Joseph had his dreams, his brothers hated him more and Jacob rebukes him but, he did contain the hate to block his concerns to Joseph. Jacob ponders and thinks about what Joseph said to after he calmed down of what Joseph had revealed to him.
Jospeh slandered his brothers.
"Proverbs 26:22-27 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
22 The words of a whisperer or slanderer are like dainty morsels or words of sport [to some, but to others are like deadly wounds]; and they go down into the innermost parts of the body [or of the victim’s nature].
23 Burning lips [uttering insincere words of love] and a wicked heart are like an earthen vessel covered with the scum thrown off from molten silver [making it appear to be solid silver].
24 He who hates pretends with his lips, but stores up deceit within himself.
25 When he speaks kindly, do not trust him, for seven abominations are in his heart.
26 Though his hatred covers itself with guile, his wickedness shall be shown openly before the assembly.
27 Whoever digs a pit [for another man’s feet] shall fall into it himself, and he who rolls a stone [up a height to do mischief], it will return upon him."
So that means Jospeh was not innocent when he was thrown into the pit. He reaped what he sowed. This is the oppsite of Yeshua.
But this is what should have happened.
"Matthew 18:15-18 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
15 If your brother wrongs you, go and show him his fault, between you and him privately. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother.
16 But if he does not listen, take along with you one or two others, so that every word may be confirmed and upheld by the testimony of two or three witnesses.
17 If he pays no attention to them [refusing to listen and obey], tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a pagan and a tax collector.
18 Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be [a]what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be [b]what is already permitted in heaven."
If no consluison can be made and disscusion and agurmnet is going nowhere, we should stop and let YHWH judge between you and them.

Jacob (YHVH) is sending his most prized son (Yeshua) to his brothers (Judah - from where the Jews came from) and the world. The brothers of course hate Joseph, just like Yeshua was hated by the Jews and His own brethren. Joseph, just like Yeshua, was out of the protection and glory of the house of his father and into the carnal realm.
Joseph represents Northern Kingdom. Shepherd of his own sheep. Joseph is going to find his brothers but dose not find them. He goes wondering in the desert looking for them (40 days of Yeshua's wondering.)
Joseph's colourful robe of power was striped from him. Just like Yeshua's high priests garments striped at the crucifixion. He was then cast into a well/pit (when Yeshua died, His spirit did not go up, it when down into the Underworld to preach to those in Hell, Tartarus, the Bottomless Pt and those in Abraham's Bosom.) Very prophetic.
They ruined my dream coat!!!! |
"My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill: yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth; and there was no one who searched or sought. Therefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word:." Ezekiel 34:6-7
YHVH is against the shepherds (the 11 brothers). The enemy is doing this to protect his shepherds. The shepherds of God can be used by the enemy and he dose not want people messing with things on the dark side, (magic, sexual sin, lies ect.)
There is no water in Joseph's pit (famine of YHVH's Word.
Ishmaelite comes to control Jacob's family.
Joseph sold to Ishmaelites into Egypt for 20 shekels/pieces of sliver which is a price for a woman/slave. The price in Jesus' time was 30, but in the 20th century BC it was 20: it is the same.
Reuben has righteousness in him as he still cared for Joseph. This paraleles Pilate relaising that he does not want to kill the Messiah.
The shepherd killed one of God's people (flock) to their own advantage. Sacrificed Jacob's (YHVH) prized son, for the brothers own personal gain.
Jacob mourns for his son, as YHVH mourned for Yeshua as He was killed and pierced.
Story goes into a completely different direction in chapter 38. Judah's complicated affair with Nephilim, masturbation and misunderstandings. Yeshua comes out from this hot mess.
Main characters of Va'Yeshev are Joseph and Judah (two houses, and inheritance.) Judah got priestly blessing (keeping Torah as the Jews do too well) and Joseph has double portion blessing (salvation, Israelites)
Judah is very rebellious and cunning like his father. He just goes ahead and marries a Nephilim.
Er (stupid name for a Nephilim) was full of corrupted DNA and probably was not even human and had to randomly just die on the spot. From Tamar, the wife chosen for Er, comes the lineage of David and the Messiah and God is not letting Satanic Nephilim seed stuff it up! (Seed war is on!)
Back then when the husband dies, the husband's brother can then marry the wife so she does not become a widow with no children. With children back then, you cannot survive. More people need to work in the household, produce food and look after livestock, so that's why people back then always had big families. It was also in order to preserve your name and inheritance to the next generations.
Onan did seem to die for his sin of ejaculating outside of Tamar, he was half Nephilim. YHVH DOES NOT WANT NEPHILIM SEED IN THE PROMISED LINE!
Luckily, the next son Shelah had recessive Nephilim genes, but the problem was, Shelah was too young to marry and have sex with Tamar, so she unfortunately had no choice but became a widow. She was then shunned. When Shelah grew up to the age, Tamar was too old and had a less chance to have a child! All hope seems lost and Satan must of had a ball at what seems like a check mate. Desperately in order to have a child, Tamar dresses up as a harlot and sits on the street side. Judah unknowingly saw her, lusted and laid with her. This is how Messiah's seed was preserved. Judah fell morally. He broke lesser commandments to do greater ones just like Queen Esther did. Fulfil Yah's promise for Messiah.
The motif of garments and goats in the context of depiction see; And He Settled (Torah Portion: Vayeshev) 2016 - 2017 at 57:00
The motif of garments and goats in the context of depiction see; And He Settled (Torah Portion: Vayeshev) 2016 - 2017 at 57:00
Judah then wants to kill Tamar, not realizing it was him that got her pregnant and his own fault, but he is too proud to admit it. Judah justifies his actions with the Torah for his sin! LOOK AT THIS MESS JUDAH GOT HIMSELF INTO! Moral of the story is: JUST DO NOT MARRY CORRUPTED FLESH!!!
38 paints Judah is a terrible light. All forefathers were just as flawed as we all are.
Meaning of the names: Judah's wife Hirah means "paleness or hollowness". Was she pale like a Fallen Angel or vampire?
Nephilim wife Shuah means "depression". Possibly emotionally or her body was deformed in body structure (like Akhenaten.). She bore Er "awaking, sir up" This is interesting because he could mean the siring up of evil or the awakening of Yah's people in the Last Days.
Onan means "their vigor, iniquity". Probably a horrible sex lover and masturbate.
Shelah means "quietness, request", perhaps his Nephilim genes were turned off and he was genetically pure and upright.
Tamar means means "upright, palm tree". In the Book of Jasher, it says that she is a Shemite, therefore preserving the seed of Messiah!
Onan just took advantage over Tamar for pleasure.
Judah, with his wife dead and his son too young to marry Tamar, he goes out to party with sheep-shearers.
Recurring theme: Deception by using garments. Jacob wore Esau's clothes, Leah when she dressed herself in Rachel's wedding dress, when Jacob's sons presented Joseph's blood stained coat to him, thinking his son is dead. Esau also steals Nimrod's Golden Fleece which ends up in Jericho by the time of Joshua.
Signet which Judah sold, stamp of ownership.
Cord - relate to tzitzit.
Staff symbol of leadership and authority.
Prophetic.
"The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. To him will the obedience of the peoples be." Genesis 49:10.
Yeshua gave away His authority in Heaven and His earthly authority at the crucifixion. He did it for the House of Israel (whore, harlot as Tamar showed herself to Judah.) When Yeshua died for whoring Israel, Judah will be lead to jealousy and will hate what happens. Jews angry at grafted in Israelites for following Torah.
Judah in 1st Century, as back in Old Testament times when Judah sold his possessions to Tamar, he will do it again. His authority will be cut off when Yeshua died for the lost sheep. It will be the Harlot (Israel, Ephraim) that will return items thought lost.
Judah as in this story and in 1st Century, gets frustrated and angry for he gave everything for Israel and knew they were not coming back.
A normal harlot would be burned but a priest's daughter would be burned. Alludes to Judah having the Torah priestly blessing.
Judah wants to burn her and sees his stuff which made him return and realises what he has done. Character of Judah develops completely at this moment when he falls on his face and repents. Teshuva. Judah admits his secrets. He will say to Ephraim that he/she is more righteous than i in the end. Reconciliation. Esau will do the same with all of them afterwards.
You reap what you sow. Judah and his 10 brothers shows Jacob Joseph's robe and said "you recognize this?" This brought and emotional burden on him. Tamar does the same with the items Judha sold to her. He connected the dots between these two events and repented.
Firstborns fight in Tamar's womb.
Scarlet ribbon? What does this truly mean? Azazel scapegoat?
The baby goes back in and then brings the second born out, because of generosity?
Pharez means "one that breaks through. Breach." He came completely out first but was not the firstborn.
This is a situation about Yeshua's first and second comings.
Zarah is the firstborn but did not come out completely first.
Judah (Jews) is waiting for a Messiah Ben David to come riding on a white horse and to kill the Romans (Pharez - the one who breaches) and the one that actually came first is Messiah Ben Joseph, the humble servant Pharez rises Zarah which means "rise like the sun (son). Pharez has the scarlet thread.
Pharez comes first by putting out his hand (Right Hand of God is Yeshua) but then carries the sins of the world to the crucifixion (Red Heifer) and hidden for a time and a season, just as Joseph was in Egypt.
Potiphar's wife everyday for a long time, tempts Joseph like Yeshua tempted by Ha'Satan 40 days. To get away from sexual temptation is to distance yourself from it. I am still struggling with this too!
Joseph was falsely accused by Potiphar's wife, just as Yeshua was falsely accused.
The cheif baker and the cheif cupbearer reresnet the two theifs that die with Yeshua. Makers of the bread and the wine is a picture of His body and His blood. This was the same with Melkezidek, who was neither Yeshua nor Shem.
In Joseph's interpretation of the dreams, we have a picture of the bread and the wine (Last Passover.)
The bread dreamer was killed (bread= body of Yeshua, flogged and pierced.) And the wine dreamer got good news of life (wine= blood that blots out all sins.) Butler restored to his master's side (believers with YHVH) through the blood. The hosue of Israel are grapes. The wine press is Yeshua's second coming. Number 3 (three days to be restored with Pharaoh/God or damntion) is repseted over again in the dreams. This is Messainic. The baker dies because he tried to do thinsg according to the flesh (bread).
In order to reach the greatest potential, you must be falsely accused. He had to pass the test Joseph so he can became Mentuhotep's right hand man and ends up saving Egypt. Yeshua also is Yah's Right Hand man, but saves all of humanity.
Potiphar's wife does not get Joseph's die of the predicament.
Joseph is put in prison for 12 and half years in prison. Represents the 12 tribes and the half tribe of Manasseh.
Joseph was accepted by Gentiles (out of covenant/unsaved peoples. Israel) but his brothers did not (Judah =Jews). For a time Joseph is accepted, but when he dies in the future, world forgets about the true identity of Joseph, (Anenemet I.)
Joseph also reveals himself to his brothers (Judah.) He did it it through Benjamin, Joseph's closest and only full blood brother, youngest.
We are sojourners. We are aliens and a peculiar people. We are strangers on the earth. We have a better Kingdom coming.
Can Joseph be Imhotep? I do not think so. See this post i made on Facebook for more reasons why i do not subscribe to this belief. The main agenda is to basically demonize Joseph - literally because Imhotep is the Mummy (bad guy) in the Hollywood films. Amenemet will approve. Though the only things the two figures had in common was noblesse oblige.
Joseph lost his page in Egyptian history because of the 12th Dynasty Pharaohs, who literally in their texts do not mention the rulers of the 11th Dynasty like Mentuhotep.
Joseph's coat is said to be white, purple, blue and red. Colors that are constantly used throughout the Torah.
We can relate to Joseph. When we do what YHVH says, we get accused unjustly by brethren. When we follow Torah, Christians degrade us for worse than atheists and sinners.
Dream revelation is regarded as the lowest level of man/God interaction, and typically reserved for those who are not as spiritually attuned
Joseph represents the Israelites who seek the ancient covenants and 11 brothers represent all of Christendom, when Joseph shares dreams.
Joseph's second dream connected to Revelation 12, that revels the birth of Messiah?
Being a prophet will always stirre up ridicule judgmentalism. Only false prophets well are well received. Prophets who have a passion for YHVH and compassion for man.
Perhaps Joseph had pride when he was telling the dreams and YHVH got him into a trail, to rid him of it.
Shechem, believed by Rob Skiba and i, is ground zero where the two trees in the Garden of Eden were. It was Simeon and Levi that massercared the people. It was where sister Dinah was raped and where Joseph was sold. It was also where the Northern Kingdom split off.
The certain man Joseph meets when coming to Shechem means (ish-angel.)
Tamar was part of the 5 most important women in Yesha's lineage. (Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Mary and Bathsheba), all justified by faith.
In chapter 38, every 49th letter in Hebrew spells out Boaz, Ruth, Obed, Jesse and David in chronological order.
The Midianites, not the brothers that pulled Joseph out of the pit.
Simeon stands up for Joseph is brother, draws his sword and yells so loud the earth shakes.
It is the Midianites that sell Joseph for 20 pieces of silver, not the brothers, to the Ishmaelites.
Joseph wa abused and beaten physically when on his way to Egypt. Like Yeshua was beaten on His way to Golgotha.
Israel will be sojourners for 430 years from the tie of Abraham's covenant to the giving on the Commandments at MT Sinai.
Yeshua's step father was constaly named Joseph so the people get it that He is Messiah Ben Joseph.
Coat of many colours could be related to the ephod that Yeshua the High Priest wears.
Joseph marries a pagan sun worshiper, as Yeshua marries disobenanet Israel who worship on SUNday. Northern Tribes.
Joseph designed as a pagan Egyptian as Jews cannot recognize the Jesus of today being pagan.
Joseph raised from pit as Yeshua raised from the heart of the earth.
We are not called to settle anywhere, but to be sojourners as our forefathers were because we are not of this world. Life is all about rain and storms and our strivings to overcome them. YHVH is testing us - will we hearken unto His voice and follow His Word? When we face a trail, rejoice because trails are sent to transform us. Retirement was not YHVH's plan for Israel. After all the hardships Jacob has had in his life, he also endured the loss of his favorite son for another 22 years. There is no real settling in this world, make sure you have tent/house not pegged in concrete so it can be easier to travel. There is always another battle, the war never ends. Testing of faith. Our mission in life is to endure and walk forward cross the narrow path of the Red Sea.
